Please just no harem I hate these multiversal novels where the sole purpose of the MC is to gather a large harem from different worlds instead of properly interacting doing stuff or actually becoming friends with any male character

Harem ff suck not because the harem itself, its because when a ff has a harem its usually the authors sex fantasy putting themselves in the mc place and writing all there fantasies about the characters the want to f and the ways they want it to happen. So 90 percent of harem ff are just unappealing to read

Harem is a garbage genre. It shouldn't exist as it has no purpose in anything. Apart from novels that talk about harem wars in history or maybe in some fictional fantasy world, it has no place in a novel where the audience has to empathise with the protagonist. Basically, the male lead is allowed to indulge as many women simultaneously as he wants, but his women must be loyal to him completely? Does that sound fair to you? Harems have never been fair to women, history can attest to that fact. If a modern protagonist decides to grow a harem for himself, I automatically assume he is a scum bag.
