The expectations I had from the title and the summary was one and the actual content was just not what was expected and not in a good way either. This is one of those click-bait novels that promises a fresh concept but infact it's just the same old same old with different character names. The integration of technology and cultivation seems so misplaced and unnecessary. The author has very little knowledge on how to develop the story, when the protagonist is actually a 100 year old man. By the current chapters, the author has talent in writing a excellent standard cultivation novel with the usual standard MC with cheats. But a novel with a new concept sadly no.

Dude just say that you dont like the novel and leave As you’re only gonna make more people not read the novel which is hella good to me and countless other people There’s no need to say that its clickbait or that its bad Just be like a normal and proper human being and just say that the novel doesn’t fit your taste
That’s what a review is. I don’t see any problem with expressing your view in regards to a text. It’s not like people expect to find objective information in a REVIEW of all things. I don’t think it needs a disclaimer. If people are dissuaded from reading the work after reading this review, then all is as it should be. That’s what reviews are for. Besides, reviews are meant to provide helpful information so that the author can attempt to improve upon their shortcomings. Suffice it to say that simply saying that something ‘doesn’t suit your tastes’, like a ‘normal proper human’ is idiotic and completely meaningless.

True, but given that it is a review - a showcase of one’s personal opinions in regards to a product - such things are within acceptable parameters. After all, there is no knowing what factors contributed to the end result. Perhaps the reviewer got exposed to a series of different works, which when compared to this work, evoked this reaction. One can’t know these things, which is why complaining about not posting them in the first place does more harm overall than it does benefit anyone. As long as a review provides insight into a reader’s impression of a work/product, it fulfils the basic conditions for a review to be considered ‘worthwhile’.
the point of reviews arent just to "help" an author, its to give their personal opinions of the novel.

my good sir.... I feel you don't understand what a review is. we write and read each other's reviews so we don't end up wasting money on a novel who's true concept doesn't interest us. if ppl just say "I don't like" or "I like" there's literally no frame of reference and we'll inevitably end up reading a few dozen chapters before deciding if we like it or not. I prefer to read through the reviews and if enough reviews say similar negative things that I don't like, I'll just pass and look for something else.
the reviewer doesn't have any compulsion to give advice to the author. there's honestly no reason for them to do so, especially if they drop it. a review is just to put your personal opinion on a novel out there to potentially benefit other readers
