It is good, but suffers from many odd mistakes, most of which, are about the mc. He comes to the past with 30 years of knowledge about the game, but barely remembers about how to kill an undead. The combat is worse though. He literally slams a cleaver into a guy's head and he doesnt die, resulting in the MC taking a hit and having to stab him in the heart. This was a fight with an untrained bandit. The fights are slow, resulting in paragraphs of a single fight with a struggling MC. Literally 30 years of combat experience and nothing to show for it besides above average skills, not even that good. It starts amazing, but progressively loses its features.

A lot of the points you make, and various comments I've seen scattered around the chapters are entirely the fault of one thing, this is a game world, no matter how realistic it may portray itself, everything in this world is based on stats. If you cleave a greatsword into a bandit's shoulder, and you don't deal enough damage to plummet their health to 0, they're still alive. Yes this may be unrealistic, but at the end of the day it's a game that has to focus on some level of balance. And a character that instakills everything at level 1 sounds like an incredibly boring story with no stakes. Likewise any awkward movement is entirely the fault of low stats, he is used to high agility that provides him with all the mobility in the world, but currently has the stats of a beginner player. The undead issue however is another thing entirely, not all undead are equal, and it's unrealistic to assume that he has infinite knowledge, especially of a monster that only appears in the beta test that is active for less than a year. I will agree that the fight scenes take way too long though, that's something I'm trying to fix. I'm sad to hear that you believe the quality is diminishing, I'd be glad to hear any critique on how that could be rectified. Is it just the fight scenes that weigh the story down, or do you find that you skip over certain parts due to how boring they are? Too much talking, world building, etc?

This is a good read, it just suffers from a slight lack of detail in its diet. I didnt even know there was a damage counter for this, but I guess it makes sense, but the thing that I find annoying is the lack of expertise of the MC. He was hundreds of levels into the game and still makes a mistake against lower level enemies. I know it makes him balanced out, but it is annoying to see such a jarring contrast from the rest of this amazing novel.
Ahh, that's fair. I was trying to balance it out, with the main excuse being that he was used to having like 1000+ points of dexterity & agility. So while he is still mechanically competent compared to everyone else, he's being dragged down by his low level/his body doesn't react as fast as his mind, etc. I get why that's frustrating, but I really don't want it to become one of those stories where the main character pubstomps everyone and just has a bunch of people go "Wow, look at him go." in the background. So this is the approach I took.
