Well, it’s because it hasn’t been written or released yet. If the novel actually gets picked to go thru the trial read portal, then 40 chapters of the raws will instantly get released. And if it gets picked from the trial read books, then there’ll be more chapters that’s gonna get released. Basically, nothing has been written yet. But if this gets the most votes, the people at QI pays the author to write out 40 chapters which is why it takes such a long time for these novels to get put into trial read. Of course, this is not true for the novels where you can find raws for.

If you can read chinese, then just find the raws, if you can’t and still want to read ahead, you can read the MTL though I really wouldn’t recommend doing that.
