Hey guys I am the editor. I hope that you guys enjoy the story! What I like about this story is that the MC isn't stupid and isn't salivating over girls the entire time. The possible paths that the story can take are almost endless (I'm at chapter 40), so I look forward to what will happen!

LIKEIt's not as if the premise is original. You got several other novels where the MC has a simulation world from which things can be taken back to the original world, but it is undeniable well written and has truly decent plot twist. Considering the fact that MC mostly runs on iron-clad sense of self interest and seriously crippled sense of compassion, he surprisingly does a lot of good. I am always afraid of what he's going to do when it's no longer convenient to do good. You basically get the lawful evil demon king currently cosplaying as the hero. However, sometimes he does something so warm that I have to wonder if he truly does care about the people he previously may have killed without blinking. In short, a complicated character.
That’s not really a complicated character, most humans are similar to some extent , doing anything for their benefits while also doing good when it doesn’t hinder themselves or harm their self intrest. Will also be blinded by greed and power or lust to do things that are morally questionable . Of course it differs between those who acknowledged their wrong doing and do them nonetheless or those who are hypocrites and will convince themselves that they are doing good(while doing henious crimes). That is normal humans, the abnormal are those with the hero syndrome those humans are mere fiction by now as they have long since gone extinct and any humans who resembles them are merely hypocrites either acting and pretending or simply ignorant of their crimes.(note i refer here to military soldiers who sometimes get named”heroes “ who either acknowledge their crimes or pretend to be heroes (while in fact are mere mercenaries who kill others for a living) or in rare cases ignorant of their actions massacaring an entire city but then goes off risking their lifes to save a single person and show off as heroes ,,,, Anyway i have alot more about modern humans psychology but that will take an entire book,,,

If by "heroes who are mere fiction by now", you are refering to those in mythology, folk tales, and/or ancient figures like Alexander the Great, then you are using the modern definition to deny what they were according to the original definition. Heroes being selfess is a modern concept. Being a hero in the past meant you showed amazing courage, ability, and/or strength for the sake of honor and glory, not as a selfless act. Those people definitely fit in that definition.
