Why is he only learning offensive magic? Shouldn’t he focus more on learning different types of magic?, like utility or crowd control or magic that allows him to escape or dodge attacks, defensive magic ? For offensive magic he doesnt need that many just different types perhaps few v aried elements to avoid an enemy with immunity to certain elements and ability to attack physical and none physical enemies and perhaps different forms like ice cone is piercing physical damage while fire ball is more like burning and explosion type damage and wind blade is cutting damage , he doesnt need to have hundreds of spells that serve same purpose he needs different spells for diff erent purposes

Lol, did the author forget that horses are the ones pulling not the wheels, so what if the wheels have no traction as long as the horses have its wnough

Limitations would have made it more balanced specially if theyre also none replaceable

Good thing for that too , An ox strength is always helpful to buff up his phsyique , an eagles sight , a dogs smelling sense , and so on , perhaps he needs 1-2 beasts for enhanced senses , 1 for agility, perhaps one more for strength or endurance , one for increased spiritual talent or affinity if there is a cultivation in future , perhaps one for better martial arts talent , perhaps one for special ability (magical talents), and at least 1-2 saved slots for future extremely powerful beasts when hes powerful enough.

The character writing systems are very inefficient and inconvenient , not only are they unprecise and somewhat vague but it requires u to learn each character individually , meanwhile letters writing systems you just need to learn the few letters (assuming you already know how to speak the language ) then learn how to combine them and you will easily be able yo read it
