The first thing I don't like is that mc was a samurai before reincarnation/transmigration(which is just a few lines) but there is nothing in the main story that relates him to samurai... it's a usual xanxia novel trope..op comprehension...gf left him(u know what happens after that..)..till now what I have read is usual cliche scenes and tropes in every xanxia novels. its okay if u think it as usual xanxia novel ...but u have namesd this as "evil samurai in cultivation world" but where the hell are samurai skills....im totally disappointed...its title is nothing more than a clickbait

LIKESamurai must follow the code of Bushido. You are not a samurai if you fail to follow the code. Righteousness Heroic Courage Benevolence, Compassion Respect Honesty Honor Duty and Loyalty Self-Control Those unable to follow the code, unable to even TRY and follow the code, are not samurai. This character is, at best, a Ronin. He is no samurai. As for 'samurai skills'. I have learned samurai katas and sword forms, they are by no means easy to learn and take serious time and effort. I can do things with a blade that many people fail to even see what happens. A true iaijutsu strike happens so fast all you see is the glint of light off the blade between beginning and end. It is terrifying and beautiful. The unlearned assume it is simply a 'fast attack', yet there is so much more to the technique to create the invisible blade. In a cultivation world one would expect a former samurai to take this skill and make it MORE. There are similar skills taught in sword katas coming from different schools of thought from Japan. Musashi, widely considered the best duelist the world has ever seen, came up with several forms of combat still taught today. It should not be too much to assume the ML would be using such forms and trying to improve upon them in a cultivation world. This web novel is all about the fact the ML was an 'evil samurai'. Thus the ML should have a sword and bow with him, be extremely learned in both, and focus his fighting style around them. Now, perhaps instead of a sword he preferred the spear? That is respectable and understandable as well. Still, a samurai would put extreme importance upon his sword being on him at all times. One does not simply put the word 'samurai' out there and not make use of everything around it. It would be like calling the ML Irish and not even giving them the accent. It begs the question, "why bother?"
Nex201:Do you think Samurais are some magical beings with special skills?
thanks, bro...this saves me from answering lots of "weird questions"

I found it dumb. Bushido is just a set of rules/way of life to show you stay loyal to your master as a vassal of a clan. The guy have reincarnated and doesn't have a master anymore. So the bushido is useless. To stay true to definitions, he is a ronin and they don't have rules anymore

it's okay if he is not following Bushido...but the problem is there is not a single thing in this story that points to this mc is a samurai warrior.....imagine a guy saying he is pro in some game....but he don't even know of basic terminologies of that game......this novel mc is exactly like that

Bruh... bushido is a way of life. in other words, a dao. have master or not is irrelevant. even ronin follow that. as I quote "...The ronin had become national heroes because of their adherence to bushido..." The author of this novel just put random words as a tittle... hence people frustration after reading it with little to none relevancy to the tittle and cover.
