It's a great book. The main character does not act outside of his character. He behaves maturely and calmly. Which matches his personality as an experienced samurai. He does not shun sneaky actions to achieve the goal. I especially like his worldview. As for the world, I can't say anything specific.

LIKEI cannot understand why you wrote it. I re-read Bushido but did not find any contradictions. Maybe I'm inattentive. But he never lied. He knows about military affairs. And he doesn't have a master yet.
Sverak:The main problem however is to be a Samurai...and labeled as such, one must follow bushido. Pride and especially Honor are huge on that list. Be more apt to call him a Ronin.
