Just curious but why dont you want Kushina as a love interest? Many people like myself always ask for her but the number of good stories that actually ise her are few to none. Especially here on Webnovel unless its one of those full on lemon stories but i dont take those seriously. Personally you can always just make Naruto the son of Minato and some orher random Uzumaki women. Its not like Naruto unlocks any special abilitiy from the Uzumaki clan so his mom not having the chains isnt a big problem. Its what i would do just to take Kushina while having an answer for canon, if canon is trully that important that it is.

So Konan and Kaguya are possible but somehow Kushina cant be added? Makes no sense, well at least Konan makes sense but Kaguya is difficult to add. No reason why Kushina should be any harder. Naruto mother could just be any random female Uzumaki, not like he inherited any Uzumaki powers from Kushina anyway.

Honestly, the reason why she isn’t is that I left the choice to the readers who wanted Kaguya and Konan back when I barely started to write the story, and I didn’t put Kushina in the list of potential lovers because at that time I was unsure of changing certain things in the plot. If I were to rewrite one day, Kushina would be with the Mc for sure, but I don’t want to add her now since I promised 3 lovers maximum.

Well thats a real shame. Guess thats the problem with not having things planned properly. Or letting the readers choose. Letting is choose is a nice way for us to interact but it shouldnt be so powerful that it changes YOUR story to please us. Personally i think your first mistake was making a story earlier in the Naruro timeline and not planning to change things. Going back that far for the story but then leaving Canon the same is useless. By that point you might as well not even make the story. If you make an MC born early like First Ninja war time period, personally i expect changes like having Tsunade or Kushina as love interest and saving the Uzumaki and Uchiha clan. If you wont make any changes like that then tou might as well just make the MC be born in Narutos time. Cause the MC wouldnt have done anything significant beforehand anyway.

Well, a lot of things are different from the canon (Uzushiogakure, Uchiha, the Shinobi Wars, the Kages, Jinchūriki, some people who died far earlier while others are still alive, etc….) and honestly, I just didn’t intend to change Kushina and Minato being together but like I said, I wouldn’t mind doing it if I were to rewrite. I intended to have Kushina and Mc linked by a Father-Daughter kind of relationship since I didn’t add her as a lover and that’s how it is in this story. So things ended up as I planned and changes were made, something that was bound to happen since I started at the Sannin’s era and I dislike story that follows the canon, it’s lazy writing. This will be quite a spoiler but I think it’s at the same time easy to guess: The ending I envisioned would be once the whole Otsutsuki Clan is eradicated from the world, well, Kaguya excluded, which would happen around the time where the Naruto canon begins, unless I end up writing more than intended which can happen, who knows. I can’t say how much more chapters I will write but we’re getting closer to it, maybe it will end around the 100th. But yeah, you’re saying it like I didn’t change anything when I did… Kushina’s just an exception, heck, I did in fact almost make her end up with someone else (not Mc but not Minato as well) but with how the story was going, making her fall in love with Minato ended up working well. Anyway, I hope that you will give this story a try, you’re actually the first guy in a long time who replied when I responded to something they asked instead of complaining to then leave without a word.

Even if we have differing views on how the story should be handles i find it jnteresting to hear new ideas and views and plot ideas. Personally i would have hated if you really went eith giving Kushina a whole new love interest. As far as im concerned if its not the MC then just leave her with Minato. Reason my comment made it dound like tou didnt change anything was because i havent read the story. I dont know what you have done, all i know is the love interests are Tsunade, Kaguya and Konan and Kushina was rejected out of the notion that you didnt want to change Canon. When i talked about Kushina and either changing Canon like Saving her country, saving Uchiha etc i was trying to be broad since i dont know what changes you made. Im actually on a binge of Naruto stories currently my favorite is Naruto: Aokiji Yuki but I havent gotten theougj all of them. Ive read the Sic Paths of realms and Overhaul in Naruto. Still have a few more like Reincarnation as an Anbu interrogator and I-Danzo. Yours i saw yesterday when i was adding all the other Naruto stories but i dont know why it didnt grab my attention. I guess it was mostly cause i was hoping for Kushina and them found that it was denied lol
