I'm just a 25-year-old Frenchy who loves reading fanfiction about almost anything in my free time. I hate lazy canon-following fanfics, A.I., and translations should have their own categories.

This is an amazing fanfiction, seriously. I’ve been struggling to find interesting fanfictions that are not some translations of meh Chinese work (sometimes those who translate don't even say that this is not their own works, which disgust me), and this one is a gem found amongst all the rubble on this website. Writing quality is awesome, I’m kind of jealous actually and want to take notes since it’s so nice to read, though I have a ‘slight’ annoyance toward the system-like reminders appearing in front of the MC again and again, maybe a little too much presence with the repetitiveness of the information given, just showing what’s new might feel better and whenever it doesn't appear for a while, or after some big moment, show us the whole thing again? Just my feelings. (Like using [X… Everything here is new info]) Characters are amazingly portrayed, and the way you describe interactions and dialogues makes them seem more real, which is a plus. Your OCs are also nicely ‘built’ and likable. Story development makes me crave more, so what more can I say? It’s interesting, and I just want to see how everything will unravel; even more because Resident Evil can become messy to properly write about, mostly due to the coutnless games amd even more if you add things like the movies and so on, but it also makes it more interesting and gives you so many things to write about, still, good luck with that. World-building seems to be nicely used; it’s a fanfiction, so whatever you decide to add has to make some sense, and for now, I feel like it does. I hope you will continue writing this, best of luck.
I removed the R-18-only chapters (two of them in this story) because they held no purpose and weren't good enough.
Yeah, that’s how it was for my first story. Now, I want to have (almost) everything ready because I was highly inconsistent later on with chapter release. Writing on the spot is definitely doable, and forcing your imagination this way is a good first experience as a writer, in my opinion. You also accept criticism and learn from your mistakes, self-reflecting on what you have done until now, which is a neat thing not everyone can do. This story is good, I like it a lot, and the only ‘downside’ I could think of on the spot is the length of a chapter, but that’s fine since you upload a lot. It’s just my subjective liking to read/write longer chapters, so it’s far from necessary. Keep up the good work man, a good Arcane fanfic is not a common thing (even more one that might get finished) :).
I’m trying to cook but it’s difficult, I will definitely post a new story at some point, I just don't know when yet, I'm too harsh with myself.
The first time is more like ‘copying’ until it reaches the right amount, afterward it will regenerate over time as if it was his own chakra. And I’m glad to hear that you like the story :).
I know, I didn’t want my MC to be perfect so I made him flawed (mostly his emotional control being misused) and that’s the thing he will have the most remorse with, but he’s changing throughout the story and you shouldn't be disappointed by the end :). Still, good luck reading since the first third of the chapters came out two years ago (nearly three) so my grammar might be harsh.
Welp, good luck during your read, I honestly find the early chapters meh grammatical-wise, they were written 2 years ago after all. Still, I hope you will like it :).
The mistake is basically how his race went to extinction, he created something he shouldn’t have and after recovering his memories (which will happen while at Overwatch so during the first arc, not later), he will finish his business here and travel with some Overwatch characters as well as others, firstly he will need to ‘reproduce’ to fix this mistake and secondly, it will simply be something that links all the fictions I chose together, it’s needed as the main storyline or he would travel without reasons.
Do you not realize that the betrayal already happened ages ago? It was before a fragment of his soul goes through countless reincarnations, this Naruto fanfiction included, there’s no betrayal in the overlord/omniverse fic since it already happened before even the prologue.
