This story is good at the start, But more it progresses the it becomes horrible, And just because the stories ratin is 4.8 doesn't mean it was earned by how the good the story was, Many five star ratings were spammed to make this story have an easy attracting naive readers thinking this would be good.

LIKEits not bad, its good. Its just that his Mcs focus a lot in detailing and making plans, weapons and doing his things, all while explaining every single thing. Sometimes we hunger for more real time interactions you know? Its great, but not for everyone.
Gato_Bolado:Okay, but why exactly is this story bad?
Now you're gonna make me copy and paste this thing so i don't have to write an essay to you: The idea of a harem requires so much character development and romantic development that I just don’t feel like even trying the read, I can’t be bothered to get into a story only for him to get an infinite amount of members out of nowhere. The premise of the novels are always inferesting but then the title has “me and a wife together in a different world” and then it shows him with 20 different girls and the idea of a single wife going out the window. It’s like if you read a novel about a monster I.e dragon, and in the first chapter he unlocks a human transformation and never goes back to being a dragon, the premise is just ruined and it feels like the author just made it like that for no reason other than the title brings in a lot of people and he can get a regular human story with more viewers. Harem is just a headache, think about it like this, you have 2 girls with different opinions, and you force them both to date you, now you add in another girl with a different opinion, and then an argument breaks out and you’re forced to pick a side, your harem breaks up and you’re left alone trying to find other girls to join. Now then picture how hard it is to get a girlfriend in the first place, you need somewhat similar opinions, and then you try to add 4 more all with different opinions, think about how many chapters it would take to develop each girl’s personalities, then you need to develop each girl with the other, now that you have that done you have to develop each girl with the mc’s personality, and then you have to develop each girl’s personalities to yours.
Adrion_Lord:Not all harems are bad tho
You are describing harems which are either poorly done or are not the main focus of the story so it wouldnt matter much in that case anyway, and you are correct, in our world having a relationship with more than one person at a time is really messy unless the mc has something that is too good to miss out on so they agree to share and they have to be submissive to the mc to some degree for this to work well. 'Good' harems usually happen in worlds where harems are already the norm for top tier men, there wouldnt be much conflict if its done right because all participants are both mentally and emotionally prepared to be in this type of relationship in the first place. I still think most harem stories are trash but the average ff harem story is still entertaining enough to enjoy them if you are just looking to past some time if you already like the world the ff is based on, but its just my taste in the end

I understand, My hatred for the genre is more of a bias but I have my reasons, I respect yours!

try Endless Path:Infinite Cosmos it has characters with very developed and deep personalities. only problem is that to develop them you need time and yeah let's just say that 2300+ chapters number is there for a reason.

yeah the story was pretty slow and some parts were too cringy for me to continue reading it

So while we're at it, let me add my own copied reply I had posted somewhere else to harem haters (yes I didn't say non harem readers because they just downvote anything that's harem). [ I don't understand people's obsession with "no harem" stories anyways. While I like harem novels I too hate trash pokemon style collection with no development, and I can still read non harem novels just fine unlike most of the "no harem" cult. And finally, these people are just hypocrites imo, were i come from polygamy is just normal, and even if you ignore that somehow, irl, people always cheat on their partners, it's not even strange to see a married man with a side chick or even girls secretly having more than 2 boyfriends. So yeah, I all I can say to those who hate harem is don't read novels with the tag, just like I don't read novels with ntr or reverse harem or lgbt. The tags exist for a freaking reason! ] .... And I'd like to add to this pasted message that this is a freaking fantasy world for f's sake. A well developed harem is always a pleasure to read like "endless path" as others mentioned but it gets too large imo, "my three wives are beautiful vampires" is a great example for me. Well either way, in the end, to each his own.
obsession with no harem stories are a way to ensure an author doesn't ruin it, I'm not saying every harem is trash, but I've seen a lot of novels become trash once a harem was introduced, A Lazy Man's Adventure is a great example, for 90% of the novel it was a single love romance, characters fleshed out together, traveling and such. But they added a harem, the harem started like this: MC visits home, girl see's him, girl catches feelings immediately, wife of the mc who specifically told that he was "only hers" immediately gives her the go-ahead to ask him out, they start dating, then other girls show up, immediately date, and we have a trashy harem that 99% of the girls don't even show up till the end, they were useless side-characters and were useless side-wifes. I absolutely hate harems since I read hundreds of 200 chapters just to have it ruined in 5. My hatred may be different for others but I never want to read a harem novel simply because all the harem novels I've tried reading were garbage, and yes I have tried alot. I agree with skipping tags since I do it way too often, if a story suddenly get's a harem thousands of chapters in I'd drop it immediately, complain, and leave to go read a qidian novel about an immortal guy in a cultivation world. If those harem novels were based of culturally accepted polygamy I'd feel better but I'd still skip, just because this is a fantasy novel doesn't mean females want to ride the nearest dude she can find, cheating on partners is not the same as having a harem, a harem means that they all accept that they love you, not that they accept he or she is the only one they love while he's out doing the dirty with whichever person would give them the pity of an excitement in whatever godforsaken relationship made them think of cheating, non harem member aren't hypocrites for something since I don't consider anyone who barrages authors with comments telling the author what to do a part of the "sect," doesn't matter if they're harem or non harem. The thing I hate most is when authors switch to harem, 99% of the time they ruin the story, I also hate when authors don't say whether it's a harem or not since I'd much rather them tell me it's a harem than suddenly adding one. Hope this answers your copy-pasted message, if not then sorry but i probably won't see this, the only reason I even read this was because some guy liked my response and i decided I'm bored enough, if not for that I would have closed notifications and read on blissfully unaware someone thought in a way that i decided fit to respond.

Very true, brother

I am afraid you are incorrect here, The anti-harem sect is not a demonic sect, we're here to guide the foolish to a better path. We do not brute force our views, let me ask you a question, have you seen the reviewers spamming harem and harassing authors? Saying that we hate indiscriminately is tantamount to being exactly the same as the unfortunate fallen. What we're here to do is bring to a better path not force others to believe in our views as the harem sect has done. Saying that we need to act like the viewers blind to the good path is close to saying that we're as tyranical as they are, we are not. I hope this helps, as people we must help not harm, as normal readers we must enjoy not ruin, and as anti-harem sect members we must guide not force.
IsekaiLord:Brother... never respect a harem lover... This was basic in the anti-harem group!
well said
