It had me confused about what to feel... first it was warm and then the next it was depressing... your way with words did a roller coaster to my mind. Quite one of a book, I thought it was sad, to me. And not because of the story, but because of the writing. The author gives a very sad and dark tone to the story, which makes me think it was sad. The feeling sad, not the bad one.
