This novel is fairly average in writing quality in comparison with the novels on this website. There are a few grammars errors here and there, the writing doesn’t excite and feels more like a description of things that are happening. E.g. in chapter 3 the MC is fighting a puppy and gets bitten; this is what the author wrote: “It had bitten his arm and stood like that as if hanging onto his last chance to survive!” Besides that there is not much describing what happened, we don’t get the pain described from the MC's perspective, we don’t know how deep the bite is and neither can we read or feel the danger/fear. I think if a person who has never experienced a fight, he’d either become scared, feel pain and react accordingly or due to adrenaline ignore the pain to a certain extent and kill the puppy. Our MC reacts to the pain (that’s good) and then beats and kills the puppy. We don’t get a glimpse of his emotions though, he is practically unbothered after killing an animal. He sighs relieved at finally killing it. That’s the only glimpse we get at his feelings before, during or after the battle with a puppy. Later on his wife kills a few humans, the only thing our MC has to add to this is telling her not to and declaring he will not let her kill a bunch of other people. No reaction whatsoever to the dead people or their blown up heads. He must either be a psychopath that has convinced himself he’s normal or seen corpses himself many times before because no normal human will not react to humans getting their heads blown up. We don’t get much information on the world in the first 7 chapters, except that there are other humans, humanoid races, adventurers and that there is a world full of far more powerful people than the mc. It’s 7 chapters in so I can’t really criticize story development. Anyways I apologize for this long review. Also I only read 7 chapters, maybe the story does get better, maybe the characters will feel like humans later on but as it stands the start is bad. TLDR: MC's emotions either aren’t shown very well or he doesn’t have any.

About the killing part..... It is not frowned upon in many cultivation novels .. its more like weird if a mc in cultivation world frowns upon kiliing .... So i supose u can leave that part aside

No actually we are not talking about such a novel, instead its an isekai where the mc Was abviously a normal person before, not reacting to stuff like that actually makes me frown and is offsetting. I have left many books due to such things as it hints towards more awkward instances in the future.

Can I ask something? The other series you wrote, My legendery class is husband of deathwill sisters?!, Are the people he married at the beginning real people or npc? I'm asking this because depending on the answer I won't be reading the novel.

bcuz most cultivation novels have a psychopath main characters (reverend insanity or warlock of the magus world to name just 2). also, everything in those novels is from the perspective of the cultivators, but the 99.99999% of humans in those novels that are just normal would call cultivators evil for most of their actions. its not about the world or genre, novels where no emotions are shown is just lazy writing, its not like we would know how a real cultivator world would actually work.

They thought this would knock some sense into their lazy brother. Kyle was stunned, but because of their coordinated planning, he reluctantly agreed with a hint of resignation. "I don't think I'll pass the test anyway. So, trying it for the experience isn't a big deal." "The only problem is, I can't guarantee that all my body parts will stay intact until the end of the entrance test." But to Kyle's shock, he passed the test without even lifting a finger! Still, he was convinced that he would eventually be kicked out of the Academy due to his lack of strength. But the moment he set foot in the Academy, he discovered something incredible about himself. GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.
