In the end its your novel so do whatever you want but if its a decent harem i don't have any objections as semi harem like nisekoi are good and all but i don't think they can be called "Harem" genre in true sense of word ...harem if its a real one should end with polygamy¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

See your concept is good but if you go for harem(which i prefer) then make it a sensible one. Meaning not any random girl for any random reason should fall for MC. She should have a personality and she should be capable enough, doesn't necessarily means strength. It could be business, administration, training military or people any field but she should have life and ambitions of her own too. And harem members should not be forgotten and become obselete. Why people hate harem? Coz author introduces girl, girl is powerful than MC, girl mindlessly falls for MC, girl helps MC then MC becomes stronger, MC moves to other area and girl is forgotten,left behind and then after hundreds chapter is re introduced for a chapter or two then forgotten again. If you do this then kindly dont make harem. Girls in harem should be independent, have depth in character, stay with MC most of the time, travel with him or even if they have to stay behind it is temporary or for short duration, substantial reason for them to love MC. Kindly keep these points in consideration and keep it 3-4, max 5. Also we have a yandere. MC should have a solid explanation for yandere to accept a new harem member and not just sloppy. If you do all these I dont see why people wont like harem

I love the sweet yandere idea. Yandere wedding ftw. Harems can be great but only if done well. Harems are frustrating to me UNLESS he marries all the harem members, because if there's a harem and he only picks one girl then all the people who got attached to the girls who dont get picked are let down and the other girls get left out. If you're going to put all that effort into the harem members then let them all win so no one is left out or loses. Besides more wives isn't a bad thing lol. Or just do a cute one girl/one wife romance with a happy ending that works too. That way whether it's a harem or not, everyone wins and everyone is happy. Best of luck with your book.
