I dropped it on chapter 24 when I realized this novel didn't have a male lead but a female lead instead. Because this is an unfavorable review aka DO NOT RECOMMEND, I will start with the negative: The main character has no ambition to speak off except beat female lead. The entire description about "With limited energy and the onset of fatigue, the Study Monster had no time to think too much. Had the heavens not grant me this system, the unending sea of knowledge would seem like a long night." would make this novel seem like someone with grand ambitions to learning everything from earth to heaven. All he cares about is the female lead. 50% of his thoughts are about studying and the rest 50% are about the female lead. The entire start of the novel we are introduced to the b****iest Mary Sue known to mankind. If you looked up the word stuck up b**** you'd be accompanied with a picture of her. She is smart, beautiful, amazing at sports, but her personality is worse than dog s***. Thus the only logical conclusion the author can make is that she will be the female lead, the main character will then be suddenly and inexplicably obsessed with everything she does and says. It even goes so far that the novel is more about her than the main character. There is even an entire filler chapter dedicated to how amazing she is at basketball. This is not even 20 chapters into the book and the MC is already getting sidelined. At the same time there is a sweet girl who obviously has a crush on the MC but as all MC's they are denser than Osmium and will never notice this. At the same time as the MC suddenly becoming obsessed with B**** queen Mary Sue, she also becomes obsessed with him. The worst cliche so far is that he went to relax and met her in three or four different times in a row. And he pissed her off every single time. Next is the system. In all the 24 chapters this has to be the worst introduced system I've read. He just suddenly got it while sitting in class. At the same time he hasn't questioned it once since he got it. He just got it and is like, OK, lets keep studying, no questions asked. But this isn't the worst part. Arbitrarily the system will classify acts of talking with girls as flirting. It doesn't matter whatever they talk about is. If he says something that displeases them he gets negative points, if he says something that is positive to them, he gets positive points. This system should instead be reclassified as simp creating system. If when you talk to a 50 year old disciplinary teacher about what you have in your backpack gets classified as flirting, then there's something wrong with the system. I do not know if this is due to translation or not but if your writing is the same as in Henties I think you should change how you write: "However, the reaction of her body was honest". This was about accepting a book she forgot by the way. Accepting a book. Also one of the worst offences the book does is go all in, every single chip on the table, mortgaging the house, taking a loan from loan sharks and selling a kidney just to put it all on the misunderstanding cliche. This along with the obsession about the female lead instead of the MC made me drop this novel. However there are positives: How the system works is great. I greatly enjoy how the author designed this system and the effects it provides, in my opinion it is innovative and definitively something other authors can learn from. Even though it just boils down to efficiency it seems like a breath of fresh air in a stale overused cliche. Also how the system refreshes outside of resting is a great concept but it is poorly executed considering how "flirting" works. The affection between the main character and his family is lovely. The way the author reduces the need to write about the family but still showing their relationship is done in a great manner, it is simply well written. The MC has an obligatory fat friend since he isn't any 10/10 beauty but personally I would say it doesn't end up being over the top and it turns into great comedic relief in-between all the serious studying. The interaction between characters are sometimes bad and sometimes good, one particular one stood out was the interaction between the homeroom teacher and her husband. It is a show of great writing and I would say this novel is written more often good than poorly. The translation is also nearly without errors, especially if we look away from the "reaction of her body" part. To summarize: If you like a cliche filled novel where the MC and the beauty mindlessly fall in love where there is no MC but instead a female lead and male lead (more often than not female lead > male lead) then you should enjoy this novel. This novel is obviously a romance novel first and foremost before being any form of cultivation or system novel. So if you are here for a cultivation or system novel I would not recommend it. Do yourself a favor and read something else. I am rating this 1 star since everyone on this site mindlessly rates it 5 stars. Consider this review nullifying Winters_Rain review, since it isn't even a review. It's akin to a 5-cent army review bot. ( Vote 2.5 to keep it fair.) Also because I would never recommend this novel if people asked me for a recommendation. I really wanted to find a new good book to read but not enough people leave factual and honest reviews. Therefore I leave this review so that others can save their time. Made in good faith.

I would please ask you to read the review before commenting. I clearly said there are several good points but I left it at 1 star since several people have left reviews with 5 stars without even having read the novel. In my opinion as I said in the review the translation is great which would merit in the very least a 2 star score but because people give out 5 stars without even having read it, it should be balanced out.
Vjetar:If you gave it two stars i wouldn't say anything but giving it 1 star is your bias spilling all over. Everyone should ignore this.
This novel is probably focus on comedy and slice of life genre. The review is mostly right, don't expect detailed paragraph explaining why everything happen. The MC is care about the female lead because he want to improve his studying, this will probably lead to romance in the future. The word 'obsesses' with the female lead is kinda wrong, the female lead is just there as a rival for the MC. Passing the female lead is like the only goal in the novel. I mean, it's better than random enemy coming out of nowhere like most modern setting novel with a system.
nahh you'll really like the novel if you can feel what he feels after exams. It's almost like the author encountered those feeling and even the negatives you said are not that bad. This novel doesn't deserve one star(I know you're neutralizing the bots 5 star) and most people vote 5 star aimlessly is because they wanted the novel to get choosen

"it should be balanced out" is a dumb excuse to give. Just say u don't like the novel, it's that simple.

I think it's pretty obvious. You said that he shouldn't leave a one star review because his reasoning is not good enough.. but! There are lots of useless 5 star reviews with no constructive criticism! So if you are going to criticize someone , criticize them.
SauceMaster64:Why then.
Listen Bro, I'm too lazy to give all of da 5 stars a reply Bro. The only reason why I replied to dis 1 is cuz it reeked of Self Righteousness.

Bias? Lmao. It’s a review. What do you think a review is? It’s an opinion. Also, you clearly are also a part of the water army if you don’t think this novel is absolute dog ****. 99% of people don’t enjoy reading about a simp who isn’t even allowed to be the MC.

This review has a lot of wrong points... Clearly this novel has a Male Lead... And it's very interesting, this is not a cliche story, if you've read the raws, you would know... Most stories or novels don't actually have any essence at the first 30 chapters, so giving this story a one-star rating after 24 chapters is not nice, but everyone is entitled to their own personal feelings so it's okay... I can only say, I enjoyed it.
