I don't understand how this is so highly rated. Characters are shallow. Concept seemed interesting but seeing the protagonist trying to be Bodhisattva ruins it completely. Attempt at comedy is poor. World building is not detailed. You can read it but it was not enjoyable for me.

I like this alot so idk about you but I enjoyed this alot, it's so much better then the nowadays novels, not as great as the legendary novels that brought us to read novels but it's enjoyable

You need to read further then you'll understand the characters and the world building. This is a much better webnovel compared to what's out there. BTW the protagonist is not going to be a goody-two-shoes, he kills a lot.
