Well, if you can get past the initial 80 or so chapters, the novel is a pretty decent read. Were it not for my usual habit of reading 100 chapters before deciding whether or not to proceed, I honestly would’ve long dropped this because of the many contradictory factors/inconsistencies and the amount of frustration felt when reading a novel in which the MC didn’t feel like the protagonist in his very own story. Almost every single thing that was brought up was deemed a mystery in which it seemed like everyone else but the MC was aware of what was going on. Novel didn’t really take a turn until the MC was reborn, as in when he got the wyvern’s heart. From that point on, the novel became a lot more bearable and increasingly interesting. I like the way things are progressing as of now as nothing feels either too fast or slow, well at least in regards to the MC’s leveling up progress. Though I do feel that the plot itself could move at a somewhat slower/steady pace because I feel that too many things have happened and been thrown at us since he was “reborn”. Anyhow, even if things continue as is, I don’t have much to complain about.

I felt the same way as you with mean reading the first chapters but unfortunately I couldn't bear MC beta personality or him nor feeling like MC at all so I dropped around the start of school volume. His personality is too beta and he can't even do a thing right. his weapons hide secrets from him and he doesn't feel like being their master at all. when he tries to ask her about any information or mystery that he wants to know, she tells him he's not read and he's like "Ok, I trust you. thanks". What's more is that some of the female characters that are added to the harem don't feel natural but more like being forcefully added because of the plot. the mysteries keep on piling up without the author never answering and telling "read till the end and you will understand". wells if this continues, you won't have anyone reading at the end. finally, the typical antagonists that are one dimensional and don't have anything interesting to them. they are even borderline "cultivation world young mastersv versions of the world. anyway, this is my opinion about it. it has some good things to it but all the things mentioned above makes it hard to stay and keep reading past 80 chapters.
if there's a hole, there's a goal bro. the sky is the limit. i already lost count tbh, i only remember Luna and Incursio. and since they didnt even ascend yet (and it wasnt revealed if the next world is the last), at this rate the mc will end up with 20 pokemons
