Hey man it’s true that part of the story where mc gets forcefully join the familia was not great but the plot development after that is really cool. MC also gets a character development. It’s giving the Arifureta vibes now. Just give it another chance.

Only arifureta anime is bad, and not so in the light novel. Like, the anime is super ultra rushed version from the light novel and BAD CGI EVERYWHERE!!!

No... It's just one of the most known anime due to how the industry catered it's release, not best. If you believe it's the best then, each to their own.

I don't think I could do that... I don't want to get invested in the story again when I already figured out I'm not gonna like the way it goes. I don't truly care for angst or drama, also I'm still kinda sore that the MC is kinda dumb. Reasons for being dumb: 1. He's in a new place somehow thinks he gonna be the best thing since sliced bread (doesn't out right say it just the vibe I get). 2. He has some time before Hestia descends what to do with that time he joins a cult/slave God instead of waiting and training to get stronger. 3. Way to impatient, also his ego must be high to think he can leave that gods service for free or make the money to leave that God by the time Hestia descends ( I know 3 is sort of a mix of 1 and 2 but they can not be stated enough! )

I totally get where you’re coming from but joining Hestia has become so very cliche. The author here is trying something new. The MC matures through the events that happen to him and then rises up clean up the mess his familia created. If you don’t want to read it then it’s fine but i just want to tell you author is just trying something new and so far till the chapter 26, it’s turning out to be very good.

1: He didn't act like he was amazing. Once he realized he was in danmachi he just said he will try to be strong and make a harem. 2: You can't get stronger without a gods blessing. The reason that every familia was only recruiting higher level people is because all of the familia are already full. They won't recruit level ones unless they take big casualties on an expedition. They were trying to recruit people that were part of familias outside of orario that came to the dungeon because it's the fastest way to get stronger. He would have to wait until something like a juggernaut spawns and ambushes an expedition because that's the only time they take casualties. 3:The only reason no one was able to save the money to get out of the souma familia was because they kept spending it all on his alcohol. You can't get stronger without a gods blessing and the god he joined is the only one fine with letting someone go to a different familia other than kali because that's how her Amazons have kids. The only other times someone swapped familia is when their god died. He either needs to wait for years for a new god to descend since Ais isn't famous yet, or be one of the handfull of people to get lucky enough to be picked to replace the rare dead in a familia. When those empty spots will be filled in a single day

I was talking about how he could train to get stronger by, you know training, you don't have to go in the dungeon to get stronger or have falna to get stronger it's just faster and more people can go beyond their limits (also it's better if you train before going in the dungeon anyways, unlike Bell who runs in the dungeon immediately after getting falna but has no real fighting skills to speak of [but still somehow proves to be better than people that actually trained for years which is just plot armor Bell should have died before he even got to the 2nd floor he was just a farmboy before makes no real sense but with sense there'd be no story] he later learns how to fight by Ais which kinda proves you don't need a godly parent to learn techniques just makes it easier) but the god he got falna from is a bad one he doesn't truly care about his children and charges them money just to get an update I see no benefit from having that bastard as a parent. Also how long did it take Lili to make money to get out of that familia to long that's how long.

To increase your stats at all you need a god to update your status. You can train and gain excelia, but for it to turn into strength you need your god to update your status. He could try to increase his skill, but how is he going to get anyone to train him with no money? All of the money making businesses in the city are ran by gods. Why would they hire someone with no experience instead of their own familia? He can try to swing a sword as practice, but he didn't get injured by his first monster because of bad skill in the first place. It was because he froze up in his first life or death situation. He killed multiple goblins after that with less injuries. Claiming you don't need a god parent to get stronger and then using someone with a god parent that got trained by one of the strongest people in the city as an example is wrong. Bell Cranel was raised by zeus and zeus put the idea of picking up girls in a dungeon in bell's head, I doubt that bell had no training at all. The protagonist of this story doesn't know that though because he didn't watch the entire danmachi series. He thinks that a farm boy just jumped in the dungeon and started killing stuff. Lili was a bag carrier and only got payed scraps for it, sometimes not getting payed at all. The protagonist gets 1/4 of the money his team earns every day because he kills monsters.
