It was a decent one for a couple of hundred chapters. One would have expected a weird sect like that of MC where all his disciples are his lovers without exception given the title, but what was really weird is that he did not have a single lover before becoming an immortal and now he almost behaves as a *** maniac. Ignoring all this, the story was a light and enjoyable read at the start. Then author starting writing another book and updates to this one became slow as a snail. So I skipped reading for a few months and came back to it. The latest chapters (200-240) have the first so-called "war" supposedly orchestrated by the MC. Long planning, execution running into nearly 40 chapters. The end result was that couple of (irrelevant) underlings of the main characters were killed, MC sneak attacked to kill a few of the competitors of his disciples who have been more-or-less engaged in a fair competition, and thousands/millions of bystander humans killed. I had thought that this whole scheme was to somehow kill the main perpetrators and beast traitors, but the above mentioned end result was perfectly in accordance with MC's plans. So MC managed to kill a couple of characters who are largely irrelevant, who were weaker than MC anyway and who could have been killed by some planned ambushes. Oh, and even the son of one of the main perpetrators was not killed because apparently it would bring a lot of trouble. So overall MC thought of this brilliant idea of orchestrating a huge war just to sneak attack these useless characters, killing thousands/millions of "ant mortals" in the process and even endangering his other body, wife and child. Go figure.

Thanks for review, I almost get trapped becuase the reviews is so good and thank for your review. I hate this kind novel and I know the novel is cliche becuase the title of novel is already cliche but I didn't expect that it's was more cliche.
To be honest, I didn't find many cliche plots in the novel. The fact that all his disciples are his lovers, and that as sect master he keeps pursuing disciples till they breakdown, was seriously weird though not unexpected. But that war was a real letdown and showed a real brain-dead MC while millions of mortal "ants" are supposed to just die due to that.
