You don't understand abcs of how resources and economics work. Natural resources are just one part of the whole gamut of "resources". There is absolutely no evidence that lack of natural resources is a problem for humans now or even hundreds of years in future. In the middle ages when there was little to no "consumerism", then people were far far worse off than now everywhere in the world without exceptions. Only silly teenagers who don't understand one thing start complaining about stuff like "consumerism". The clamour to get rid of most of what we achieved in the past few hundred years is foolish and brain dead. Of course we should conserve all resources where possible but that is a matter of general principle more than anything.
A 5000 mile diameter body cannot become a star. Our sun is more than 800000 miles while the smallest stars are more than 100000 miles. Authors really should do basic reading before writing such stuff.
Sure, it's your fantasy novel so you can come up with any kind of "rules". But a professional killer fretting over slavery is quite silly. On the other hand his other half, a modern university student, should normally be far more repulsed by killings than slavery for example. Anyway, your novel your rules, so anything goes.
Lol "cultivation" takes as much time as the author desires. It can take a day, a minute or years or whatever. Have you read so many chinese cultivation novels that you have started thinking of pure fantasies as some kind of facts applicable to all novels?
That's all you got to defend this absurdity?
It's quite silly really. Slavery and r**e are crimes, while killing is normal.
And presumably he ate hundreds of rabbits/chicken in just a month, wow...
What makes you imagine that those fellows are not doing it out of their own will? They want to help, so they help or not.I, for one, would definitely not prefer those psychotic mcs who can potentially kill me and my family and everyone around just because someone from the clan/country/sect happened to offend him or her in some way.
Heh, as opposed to typical psychotic maniac mcs of chinese novels.
Yeah a single person can create elaborate modern-ish phones, upgrade them with such features and blah blah. What a load of bs.
Too many plots at the same time are spoiling the novel imo.
Umm, how do these participants know that the royal academy is always fair? Just because they claim so?
Lol, most resources we use are generated by us and do not just "exist" for the taking.
Even so normally there will be stronger disciples that are older than these young folks. This novel does not even mention those generations, so this reason has no basis. The real reason is simply that this is a plot hole created by the author to force the MC to fight much higher levels some way or other (and, of course, come out victorious).
There are a bunch of contradictions in the novel and what you claim about these novels. For starters your basic premise that these fellows don't care for young talents is plain wrong. Most sects are shown to nurture talented young cultivators, not harm them without reason. Besides sects who may have weaker young gen (but strong enough older gen) will not agree to this kind of competition where they are at a big disadvantage from the outset.Anyway enough said. These novels are almost never logically consistent, especially when authors want to show face slapping and s**t like that. So your arguments to somehow justify these stupidities is a total waste of words.
That's weird logic. These fellows send out inexperienced teenagers to investigate demonic cultivators having tons of unknowns where they know many will die just for the so-called "tempering". Yet they will not even compete among themselves to prevent possible injuries?
Are you saying that between these juniors and elders there is only a gap of 4-10 years?? That certainly is not the case in this novel, so your explanation does not actually explain anything: how come there are no generations between the young folks and the elders?
Yeah the author says so later but I think it is a bigger risk to stay in the house where multiple super strong fellows are present (unless he doesn't mind exposing her identity). Instead he should move to an inn/hotel or something.
Makes no sense. The main force are these elders and sect masters. They should compete among themselves to decide rather than juniors who have little role in the overall war. This is just a forced plot to have the MC win with face slapping and all.
This generation stuff is quite weird. How can there not be any disciples higher than these juniors and below the elders and all?Generations are continuous, and every year there are new disciples. It's not like they take in new disciples only after the previous ones have finished all their training for tens of years.
