Never before has a book made me feel the need to write a review, however this one is different. The writing quality is excellent, surpassing the best Qidian has to offer and is up at the top with the likes of Supreme Magus and The Lord of the Mysteries (it’s been a long time since I’ve had to look up the definition of a word and it is an exciting prospect with this book). The story/world building is intriguing, reminiscent of Terror Infinity in premise but with its own uniqueness which makes it captivating to read. The characters are interesting as the author does his/her best to replicate all the human intricacies. I hope that this review will serve as encouragement for the author and other readers to persevere with this story; the only reason it is not in the top 15 is because not many know of it (surpasses plenty of the garbage up there like My Vampire System for example). I hope you continue to write this book author, for my sake lol.

LIKEThere are tens of thousands of novels with good natured MCs, while there are barely 20~ish with antihero - evil MC that have more than 100 chapters. So when i find a novel that interests me but the MC is good natured or leaning towards good is just so disappointing no matter how 'realistic' it seems for the story.
Muhai:Disappointed? I think it's realistic. But we have our own preference *shrugged*
Yep, most Author would Potrait their MC as a Hero. As most public opinion of Hero is better than anti-hero. Some of Korean Novel's with Anti-hero Protagonist that I can recommend is : Dungeon Defense and Dungeon Hunter. Chinese Novel with Evil MC that I can recommend is : World of Warlock and Reverend Insanity.

I know the reasons that's why I don't mind it that much, just disappointed as I said. Also, thank you for the recommendations, though I know every antihero/evil MC novel that's worth reading in existence, quite literally. I appreciate the thought though.

Gotta agree with the review, I've been gobling up chapters since I've found it and at this point only rlly log into the app to rack up fast passes for future chapters. It really should be in atleast top 5 or even in 1st with the quality every chapter has to offer, no disrespect to LorM or ** but my hype has slowly died down for them after catching up and most chapters are just build up to cliffhangers now. This new blood really came when I needed it >w < Really sucks that the stupid 'My Vampire System' crap is in first but not rlly surprising, he basically just nuts out chapters everytime someone gives him a power stone and well the story, characters, etc... are all kinda subpar like I'm talking a quarter of mediocre. Just barely passing the line for something actually legible, plus all the alt account 5☆ reviews and him deleting reviews that say anything critical its just kinda sad that people can't see this gem and instead see that sh*t stain when they boot up the app.
Ain’t that the truth 🙌

Im with ya, even the ones that start Anti hero, or revenge usually end up being pussified by the end of the novels.

At least we have new and good original books right now with Devil's Rise, Birth of the Demonic Sword, Abyssal Lord of the Magi World as well Supreme Lord Shapeshifter to sort of make up for the lack of Evil/Anti-hero MCs.

For your question, the MC starts off as a normal dude, with a normal moral sense, with the expected selfishness of a loner. My will was that most readers could relate to his behavior, especially in the beginning, to better understand why and how he changes later. With this logic, it's impossible to write an evil MC from the start, because if that's what you're looking for it is indeed not a novel for you. However, it's an apocalyptic world where people have to make choices and the MC is not a saint either. He will change as he adapts to this new world. Now, I don't think the MC will ever be evil. I want him to become chaotic neutral on the long run. After all, I don't enjoy reading novels about psychopaths. I read Reverend Insanity and as good as it is, it is not my cup of tea. I think it's quite obvious why not many authors write about evil MCs. The authors identify to their characters, especially the MC. Writing about an evil MC is just disturbing and unnatural, since most authors won't be able to relate to him/her at all and it is true for most readers.

When most people say Evil or Anti-hero MCs, the reason we love them in novels is not because they massacre mindlessly or for fun, It's because they're the type of people to kill of an entire species if for example they would get their extra special souls and become stronger. Personally I'm not looking for a psychopath, but an MC that will actually do anything in his path for power. Real chaotic neutral should be exactly that, as neutral means not inclined to help anybody but themselves, especially when you add the chaotic term. Thank you for your response anyway, It's your book and I'm not trying to change your mind. I'm just trying to figure out if this book is what I'm looking for. Good luck.
