So.. AI boy wakes upp and deconaminates earth, big problem though, Every single speck of life on earth is gone. Suddenly a portal to a high fantasy opens upp and AI boy decides to kill everyone that comes through the portal even thoug they can't even scrape the paint of his murder-machines. Writing is not bad although there are plenty of misstakes. Story could be awesome, but this is more my preference not being met rather than it being bad. It is impossible to sympathise with MC due to him, it? not having any emotions. World building is ok.

Hello! Thank you for the review! I'm sorry if things weren't explained enough. The portal opening up and the apocalyptic scenario which resulted in the destruction of all life have fleshed our backstories but it's all mystery for now but as the story progresses, bits and pieces of information will be revealed :) about the mc, you aren't suppose to sympathize with him, rather you are to sympathize with the people in the fantasy world, well atleast that's how I envisioned it. Also he killed those people in a "precautionary" sort of response, they're unknown hostiles from another world and could cast magic he doesn't understand, it was most logical for him to immediately neutralize them.

There is a twist to the story if you could look a bit hard enough. As the Author had said not every novel would have it readers sympathize with the MC rather with a novel like that it might go bland in the long term progression. Unless of course it is a roller coaster ride wherein the MC experience a new scene every single chapter and where would that take us? Prolly back to square one. Where it just repeats with just new character and so.
