After reading 16 chapters I gave up on this story. Mainly because of how pathetic Mc is. I explain why he's like that. 1. He's smart, and knows perfectly well consequences of actions. And even of it negative he still does it because of emotions. 2. He always warns that stupid Potter about things that he shouldn't do, but fuc.king Potter still does it. And guess what Mc says that he won't get involved, but just after a few moments he rush to help Potter even if it endangered Mc himself. 3. Mc said don't go for stone and what, Potter did it anyway no matter how hard Mc try to convince him otherwise. In the end Potter says that friendship is over and Mc goes to bed, bus just after 5 minutes he rush to Potter help like little bic.h, risking his own life to help fuc.king useless peace of sh.it which Harry is. Anyway I don't recommend reading this, because all your expectations will be ruined.

Overly reliant on the source material to the point where the presence of the MC amounts to absolutely nothing, so much so that calling this fan fiction is a stretch so exaggerated it pulls your groin thrice over. Author took about 60 chapters to recount the 3rd book (at a bit under 100k words), while the original is a grand total of 107k. This alone isn't an indicator of poor quality but the fact that the only change we get is someone getting torn apart at the end, while the rest remains an almost shot for shot remake. The MCs sole purpose at this point in time seems to be snarky comments and the occasional one liners, only making any form of contribution once it's relevance to the plot has been whittled down to a finite point. Some HP fan fiction goes crazy with ideas like cultivation, dragon animagi and ancient families, but at least all of these stories have tried to inovate upon the source material, while this author is clearly far too comfortable wrapped up in the warm embrace of a pre gay Dumbledore JK Rowling. Vastly over rated and provides almost nothing of substance. Just read the originals again, after all they'll tell the same story.

What I feel about this story well for one this was the biggest waste of time in my life the story’s boring with a pathetic Mc that leaves much to be desired I believed it would have been better to instead of genius have normal as a perfect description of him and even that would be a lie cause he is much worse

The character is terribly disappointing and beyond pathetic. Better to rewrite the. Try to fix his inconsistent mess of a “personality”. Author keeps making excuses that he is a “child” and all children “innately need friends”. That’s a load of nonsense. Some level 4 bots trying to boost the ratings.

Ok, I'm really disappointment, the author say that the novel is slow paced but is totally rushed, in the first volume he just show the main events that happened in the original book but now have another person with the trio, the mc read a lot but don't really show nothing that he is really learning, in the fight against voldy he just accepted the dark magic. This first volume could have more than 40 chapters easily but the author didn't show the rest of the year, is like show 20 days and the rest of the year was just gone.

i will just say this its a great story well since its the beginning and he will follow harry for around 20 chapters. The mc is a mature and a good kid also very smart but he is still a child so u can expect him do do some stupid ****. and he also has quite and intresting yet mysterious backstory
