May i know what is your favourite novel? I need some recommendations for a new read. I mean when the first time I read the chinese translated novels i really love them because of the different plot and strong female lead. But somehow i think most of the novels has the same plot and story line. And i kinda want to avoid any novels abt reincarnation (i’ve had them enough lol)

There are some amazing BLs out there you should try it,since your new to it you should start with ‘quickly wear the face of the devil’ I started BL recently and that one is probably one of my all time favourite novels. My favourites at the moment are“ it’s not easy being a man in the future” and “ the earth is online”(BL). My favourites change really often but these two are very good in terms of plot. The only problem with ‘it’s not easy being a man’ is that it’s very hard to get into, it took me so much effort and perseverance to read through it and when I got to the latest chapter I found that I actually liked it. Earth is online is a BL so you might not like it and the romance is slow but it’s amazing. Perfect secret love is probably one of my favs so far. Currently it has 801 chapters. And they are so many mysterious things that yet to be unveiled. I also like hidden marriage too. If you want to try perfect secret love, i suggest you wait until it has 1k chapters or more (lol) because they are so many cliffhanger 😆

Nah the drama is more or less the same the FL fuyao is suppose to be badass to only be dumb the ML lead wuji saves her all the time. She repeats the same mistake over and over that I think they should really change the name it’s not legend of fuyao it should be legend of wuji. Also the supporting had better development than her the acting was bad there was no chemistry between the lead couple it felt forced. Wasted so much time on it thinking that the FL would get better but no she was probably the lamest hyped up FL EVER.

No I watch the drama which sucked and read only a few chapters from the novel which is a little better than the drama.

If the novel is better than the drama then I can’t imagine how bad the drama is. Don’t know why they make these bad novels into dramas when there are so many good ones they could. Then again if they made the good ones into dramas they would probably ruin it.

True and yea not all novel adaptions are good, only a handful comes out good. It’s pretty hard now with how producers are going for the popular/pretty celeb because of their fans instead of the one with acting talent. Also idk if it gets any better but for now I’m dropping the novel since the drama was just too bad.
