[I'm not one to shy away from criticizing someone] Oh wow, hmm, how can I explain this? Really liked the novel at the start, although he was betrayed thoroughly, he can still pull himself through. Then it gradually starts to go downhill, I personally project myself into the MC. So I try to justify their wrongdoings and stupid crap they do. But this one? Nope, he has an average backstory with his mom dying and all, then his family fell apart and then stuff happens. period. The start of the novel dwells on the fact that he got betrayed by his 'love', cmon man, it's just a girl *shrugs* But the MC just suddenly become this psychotic emotionless edge lord who kills just because. I would understand if he is in a warren period or even going through unimaginable tragedy, but he just becomes like that suddenly. No buildup or anything. There's nothing to define him. The point is, although I've read some darker **** and edgier things than this novel, their characters make sense, this one? Not really. I don't enjoy it, specifically from the latest chapter. I get it if it's adults who do that but...Nibba, it's kids? He even has his ****ty reason to go with it. Good writing, but too edgy for my taste, try too hard to be philosophical but some of the things said here does not cohere to real life. *phew* I like this novel as you can see, but it really has been hard for me to avoid the fact that this is terrible.

In the first place is MC have mind of 'normal people'? Reread again his flashback about his past and childhood. Is he like 'normal people'? And for building, I think author already do his best for us reader. Just imagine how you will react if the 'only spiritual support' you have hate you.
