When they reached the 11th floor, Samantha was already shifted to a bed from her stasis chamber in one of the rooms in the hallway. Sara and Greg were in the room with her.

Samantha was delighted when she saw Jason.

"How's our little girl doing?" said Jason as he entered the room. At that time, Fredrick witnessed a whole new side of Jason.

"I am not little anymore, big brother. I have grown up, I also have powers. Now I will be able to protect you," said the little girl.

"Silly girl! Shouldn't the brother be the one to protect his dear sister? You don't have to worry about me. Just focus on getting better," said Jason as he sat beside her.

Greg and Sara went outside the room and took Fredrick and Yosef with them.

"Let's not bother those two right now," said Greg.

"I never would've imagined Jason speaking like that. He really cares for her, no doubt. But come to think of it, are you guys related? He even calls you uncle," said Fredrick.

"Jason's father was my elder brother. His parents were both researchers just like me."

"Were? Now that you mentioned, Jason never talked about his parents. Are they...?"

"They died in an accident when Jason was eight."

"An accident?"

"It's confidential. Unless Jason takes the initiative to talk about it, I am afraid I can't tell you anything further."

"By the way, Yosef, how are you related to Jason for him to know that you are an assassin?"

"Don't ask me that. Ask that jerk who likes to act cool.... By the way, uncle Greg, my father asked me if you could prepare more of those IR masking robes."

"I will contact him. Let me go, check the supplies first."

"What are those? And is Yosef's father also related to this?" asked Fredrick.

"You ask too many questions," said Yosef.

Yosef and Greg went inside the lab leaving Fredrick behind.

"Why does everyone avoid answering when I ask them about it despite them talking about it in front of me?"

"Everyone has their own secrets. And the questions you ask are mostly targeting those secrets. It's better to not ask when it's not about you," said Sara who was with Fredrick at that time.

"I guess you are right. By the way, how long are you going to be standing here? Isn't Sam your younger sister? Shouldn't you also stay with her?"

"There's no need. She's happy when she's with Jason. Her being happy is enough for both me and my father."

"I am sure she's happy when you are with her too. Anyways, Jason mentioned some classes? What are those?"

"You are a potential awakener, not yet awakened. You have little to no knowledge about the powers, how they work and how you can use them. That's where the classes come in."

"So it's just like the schools?"

"Yes. But don't be discouraged. It's not boring like those at schools. We have already received those. Even that rookie assassin attended."

"Come to think of it, Yosef avoided answering how Jason knows he is an assassin. Do you know anything about it?"

"The reason he didn't answer is because, Jason hurt his pride as an assassin."

"How?"

"It happened 5 years ago. Someone hired Yosef to assassinate Jason."

"What?!!!"

"Yes. At that time, even though they were classmates in highschool, Yosef prioritized his job. The day when Yosef infiltrated this villa, he found that his father and Jason were having tea together. He was hiding behind the door when Jason called him inside."

"So Jason knew Yosef was going to assassinate him?"

"That's the fun part. It turns out Jason was the one who hired Yosef."

"Wait. Jason hired Yosef to assassinate himself?"

"Apparently, it was a bet between Jason and Yosef's father. For your information, Yosef is from a family of assassins. How Jason knows his father, I don't know about that. But they were betting on if Yosef could infiltrate that villa without getting captured on the newly developed sensors or not. And it turns out Yosef failed to avoid the hidden sensors which captured his movement the moment he stepped into the boundary of this villa."

"Then what did Jason win?"

"Jason wanted to hire some assassins which were trained by Yosef's family. But according to family rules, the members of his family can never work under anyone else except for the family. Yosef's father lost the bet which changed that rule forever. You have met Julia already, right? She is one of the assassins hired from Yosef's family."

"But isn't that a dangerous thing to do? Are they even trustworthy?"

"One thing about people who live in the dark is that they never go back on their words. Those who do such are low lives. The same goes for Yosef's father. He is a man of his word. That person puts his pride first. In addition, they have some business deals with our organization."

"You guys have been mentioning the organization, but doesn't it have any name?"

"It doesn't. Jason and father thought it was a silly idea to name our organization."

As they were continuing their talk, Jason came out of the room.

"What are you standing here for, Fred? Ohh you are here too, Sara. Sam called for you."

"Alright, I am going."

"Hey Fred, where did Yosef go?"

"He went with Uncle Greg for some kind of robe his father was asking for."

"That old man is really greedy... *sign* Let's go meet them. We will be starting your classes tomorrow and you will be staying here from now on."
