The Lotus Girl

Haru laid in bed as she looked over at Ryan sleeping on the sofa. She sat up carefully getting out of bed and holding the blanket around her to keep warm as she walked to the kitchen and started making her a small fruit bowl. She couldn't sleep at all and couldn't understand why as then she drizzled caramel syrup on the fruits. Taking the bowl she went over and sat down on a seat and started eating the caramel drizzled fruits enjoying the taste. Her eyes went towards the window as she saw a ship in the distance as a sigh left her lips looking back at her fruit bowl.

"Why cant my garden be left in peace" She sighed looking back at Ryan

The next morning Haru woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs as her eyes fluttered open sitting up rubbing her eyes a bit. She looked over at her kitchen seeing Ryan making breakfast as she got up and walked over the smell drawing her in. He smiled holding a bacon to her as she ate it covering her mouth surprised by the taste. "Like it?" He asked looking at her surprised face

"I-Its delicious" She said eating the bacon more

Ryan smiled preparing the plates as he put them down on the table as Harus eyes were looking out the window still seeing the ship in the water. She jumped a bit feeling Ryan's hand on her shoulder as she looked at him as he looked out the window seeing the ship as well as he rubbed his head. "Well what u want to do?"

"Eat breakfast" She said softly walking to the table

He looked at her as he looked out the window before joining her at the table seeing her enjoy the breakfast he made brought some joy as he sat down and started eating breakfast himself. Haru ate a toast as she smiled enjoying licking her lips softly as he smiled enjoying his toast. She then drank some juice as Ryan looked back at the window eating an egg as she noticed drinking her juice before putting her cup down. "Don't worry if they get on the island ill just blow them away"

"You were almost killed though" He said relaxing and eating some eggs as she looked at her plate. He was right she did almost die and if he wasn't here then she would've died. Her eyes went on him as she ate some bacon enjoying the taste of the bacon. "Hey why not try and use a wave to wash their boat away?"

"That'll take too much energy" She said looking at him

"Oh come on how about I teach u" He said eating some bacon and getting up

"U teach me MY powers?" She said calmly looking at him

"Here come on" He said taking her hand and walking out the cottage. She grabbed a bacon following along eating it as he stood at the middle of the garden pulling her in front of him. The boat was still far away by the looks of it the people aboard hadn't used mini boats to try and get on the island yet. Haru felt nervous as he held her hands standing behind her as he was being gentle and was trying not to seem dangerous. "Here close ur eyes" He said

She did as she was told as her eye lids closed holding his hand as he locked their fingers together. She blushed a bit holding his hands within hers as she tried relaxing a bit. His breath behind her was making her a bit uneasy but she nevertheless stayed calm as possible. She's never had anyone on the island and when he came she was untrustworthy of him but the longer he stayed the more she actually to trust him just like now.

"Now just focus ur powers on the ocean and think of the danger ur garden can be and with that u can focus ur mind on how powerful of a wave u want to wash them away" He said calmly holding her hands

With a breath of fresh air she focused as told using her imagination to see the ocean in her mind before her body glowed a light blue with light orbs around floating as he smiled keeping her hands in his. Before long a huge wave of water started forming and looming over the ship as it fell on them with a big splash a rainbow forming from the droplets of water raining down. Amazed by her ability Haru opened her eyes seeing the rainbow with the ship gone as she looked around as he smiled.

"U did wonderful Haru that was magnificent" He said looking at her with a smile

"Where did the ship go?" She asked looking at him

"u got rid of it with ur ability didn't u feel it?" He asked raising a brow

Seeing that blue aura around her was absolutely stunning but she should've felt a power surge like in the story books and fairytales. Haru touched her chest looking at the ground as she thought for a moment. Feeling the power surge through her she didn't expect such a surge of it go through her. It was something she never felt before as she looked at Ryan before smiling as he froze a bit seeing her smile with a rainbow shining behind her with a morning sun glinting on the water surface was a beautiful sight to be seen.

"Thx u Ryan" She said softly

He looked stunned mesmerized by the beauty before smiling himself he was so falling for the girl in front of him. At the same time she too was falling for the man in front of her without realizing it herself. On the island they met would be the bond of a new fond love and the beginning of something that could break everything that could be born. What was to come is left to be told in future events.
