The Lotus Girl

Haru couldn't believe that a human actually helped her develop her powers it made her a little uneasy but also a bit more hopeful that he might actually be friendly with her. She looked at the sea her mind wondering and feeling a surge of her power through her body. She turned to Ryan as he looked at the sea as well admiring the Beauty. For the first time she didn't feel like he was a threat so far he had been nothing but kind to her. But that also made her worry what if he was just trying to get her guard down and then backstab her. All those emotions spreading through her head. She jumped a bit feeling his hand on her head as she looked at him. 

"Are u oki?" He asked 

"oh I'm oki sorry I was just thinking" She said softly looking at the sea. She had always wondered what was beyond it where the people resided. Though she didn't risk it for her safety and her gardens safety. It was something she could never do. "how about we look at the flowers and fruits and see how they're doing"

"Yea lets that'll be good" He said walking to the garden as Haru gave a look to the waters before following along behind him. They both started taking care of the garden watering them and harvesting the fruits and vegetables. Ryan ate a few as she smacked his arm a bit as he then ate another one just to annoy her a bit. She looked at him smiling before laughing a bit. "The fruits here are delicious u know"

"Why thx u I've been taking care of this garden on my own before u came along" She said eating a blueberry before continuing to take care of the garden. Ryan continued to help take care of the garden as well as he enjoyed the breeze and sunshine of the place it was really calming and soothing.

Haru took a basket carrying it over to the fresh fruits and started organizing them in order. She started getting a few to do a few pies with as Ryan walked over and put some fruit baskets down as well. "Ur going to use those?"

"Yea im going to make a few pies with them" She said smiling softly and going inside her cottage. She gently set the fruits down washing them a bit and started slicing them up proceeding to make pies with them. Taking a few pie trays she started preheating the oven humming a bit. Ryan walked in sitting down as he sighed out watching Haru cutting fruits and making pies with them.

She started putting all her pies into the oven closing it up as she then walked over taking a seat down. She sighed a bit relaxing as he relaxed as well enjoying the moment. "ur a strange guy u know that" She finally said softly

"strange huh.." He said softly leaning back

"yes usually humans rob me or try and kill me u know the sorts" She said softly leaning back relaxing

"well I proved I was friendly didn't I" He said calmly

"yes someone once did that too a long time ago.. but then they turned on me after I trusted them.." She said softly "u wouldn't do that would u.."

"no i wont" He said straight forward

She believed his words she could sense genuine kindness in his voice. Not only that he was very nice to her. But even then that created doubt as well because the trust could be broken any time. Haru took her mind off it and heard the timer ring and walked over to the oven opening it and taking the pies out as Ryan smelled the pies quickly going over. "Hey smells good" 

"Ah thx u i make pies when i can wanna try one?" She asked smiling 

"AAh can i plz" he said with a smile

With that she took a slice of pie putting it on a plate as she then handed over to Ryan with him taking it getting a utensil and eating a slice of the pie eating it. The flavor made him fall in love with her more as he continued enjoying it. Haru took her own slice of pie to enjoy as well smiling. She walked to a table and sat down to enjoy her pie as Ryan joined along smiling. 

"Ah pie is good on a nice day" she said smiling

"U said it" he said smiling

The two enjoyed the pie as haru got up walking to the kitchen to get a few drinks as she walked back sitting down. Ryan and haru continued to eat in silence enjoying each others presence as Ryan started thinking for a bit. "Hey haru how many bandits come here?" 

"Well it depends really" she said softly looking out her window "it's very tiresome..i just want to live in peace" 

He could tell that she just wanted to live in peace as he took a bite of his pie and took her hand smiling. She looked at him as he smiled saying a few words to her as she went wide eyed a few tears going down her face with a smile across her face.

"U are such a mystery to me.. Ryan.." she said with a smile "I'll hold u to that"
