Chapter 11: The Vampire’s Birthday Ball

A Certain Noble's Daughter P.O.V.

Greetings, I am Sue, the daughter of a human noblewoman. I find myself currently standing in a grand ballroom located in the heart of Vamper Kingdom's castle. My mother and I have been invited by the Queens, and it seems my mother has a close relationship with them. As we wait in anticipation for the 1st Princess of the Vamper Kingdom, Princess Lily, to make her entrance, the chatter in the ballroom begins to grow louder.

Finally, the announcer declared, "Now arriving! The 1st Princess of the Vamper Kingdom, Princess Lily and her brides, Madam Lucy, Madam Yami, and Madam Mana"! As soon as Princess Lily entered the ballroom, every gaze was fixated on her, including mine. Though she had a group of stunning women by her side, Princess Lily shone like a radiant star. Her black frilly dress with pink accents complemented her silvery-white hair, and her fluffy and pure aura exuded cuteness and beauty. However, her stumbling almost caused her to fall, and Lucy, one of her brides, came to her rescue. Princess Lily's eyes were filled with love as she looked up at Lucy, which made her even more endearing.

I overheard my mother talking about the possibility of the Princess going on an adventure, and my heart raced at the thought of her venturing into the dangerous Harold Kingdom. I wondered if I could convince my mother to invite Princess Lily to our kingdom instead. I wanted to know her more and be her friend, as if it was my destiny to stand by her side and protect her from the hurt that humans had caused her. Before the ballroom erupted into noise once more, I mustered the courage to introduce myself.

"Happy Birthday, Princess Lily. It is an honor to be invited here and to meet you. My name is Sue, and my mother is a close friend of yours." Princess Lily gave me a warm smile and replied, "Ehehehe, thank you, Sue. It's a pleasure to meet you too. I hope we can be friends like our mothers are."

She was too adorable, and I felt a tug in my heart. I wished I could take her with me. "I hope so too. I'll let you return to your brides now. Have a great night, Princess Lily."

With a sweet giggle, she responded, "Ehehehe, bye-bye. You have a great night too, Sue." As I walked back to my mother, I made a silent promise to myself. "I vow to protect you from the dangers of the Harold Kingdom, my Princess."

Lily's POV:

Hello, everyone! It's me, Lily, your favorite fluffy vampire princess. It's been a while since the ball started, and I just finished a delicious piece of butterscotch pudding cake. I made a new friend, and she seemed really sweet. I hope to see her again soon. Let's pick up where I left off after saying goodbye to Sue.

"Are you okay, my Princess? You're shaking. I know humans bring back bad memories for you," Lucy said.

"I'm okay, Lucy. I promise. Not all humans are bad, and she seemed really sweet. I hope to see her again," I replied.

"Very well then, it's getting late, and I know you're still worn out from the day's events. I believe it's time for you to retire to your chambers," Lucy suggested.

"No, not yet. We haven't even danced yet. Can we please dance first? I want to dance with all three of you," I requested.

"Very well, my Princess. May I have this dance?" Mana asked.

Mana took my hand and led me to the middle of the dance floor, where we waltzed with her as the lead. During the dance, she gave me the brightest smile and said, "Thank you for asking me to be your friend a year ago when we first met. I haven't been as happy as I am now. I love you, Lily."

Small tears formed in my eyes, and I gave Mana a tight hug and a light kiss, saying, "Thank you for smiling for me. I love you, too, Mana."

After the dance, we walked back to where Yami and Lucy were. Yami was next to ask me to dance.

"May I have this dance, My Dear Princess?" Yami asked.

"Yes, I would love to," I replied.

Yami took my hand and led me back to the center of the ballroom, where we tangoed with her in the lead. During the dance, Yami hugged me tight and said, "Do you remember the day we met when I saved you at the lake 12 years ago? That was the day I vowed to protect you and your smile. Thank you for accepting me. I love you, Lily."

"I remember. Thank you for always protecting my smile. I love you too, Yami," I replied.

Tears filled my eyes once again, and after the dance, I gave Yami a light kiss and a tight hug. After we returned to where Lucy and Mana were, Lucy asked for the last dance of the night.

"May I have the last dance of the night, My Beautiful Princess?" Lucy asked.

"Yes, I would be honored to have you," I replied.

Instead of taking my hand, Lucy picked me up in a princess carry and carried me to the middle of the ballroom. We didn't do a fancy dance this time, but we swayed to a soft and slow song while holding each other close. Close to the end of the dance, Lucy said to me, "The day I first saw you walking down the street with your mothers three years ago, I wanted to be your friend. I was scared that dream wouldn't come true, but instead, it did, and it became better than I could have ever imagined. Thank you for saving me and making my dream come true. I love you, Lily."

"Thank you for always being by my side these last three years. I love you too, Lucy," I replied.

Tears streamed down my face as I hugged my mama and mommy, thanking them for the beautiful ball. My wives cuddled me as we headed to our chambers for the night. We spent an hour of quality time apiece together, and eventually, we all drifted off to sleep with them holding me close.

As I started to doze off, Rose, my other self, spoke to me in my head. "Hey there, Lily, I will let you sleep soon, but I need to tell you a couple of things, okay?"

"Of course, Rose," I replied.

Rose went on to tell me everything she had revealed to my wives - about my soul not originally belonging to this world, meeting the Goddess, and giving up my past memories. She also explained why I needed to train hard for the next three months and revealed something unexpected.

"Lily, I have been with you since the day you were born, and as I have watched you grow and become the person you are today, I have fallen in love with you. Please train hard so that you can control your powers and we can meet face to face," Rose said.

"I promise to train hard so we can meet, and I have fallen in love with you too. You have always been there for me when I needed you. This time, I will save you," I said.

"Thank you, get some sleep now, good night. I love you, Lily," Rose said.

"Good night, I love you too, Rose," I replied, feeling grateful for her guidance and support.
