First day

It has been a week since the entrance exam. Izuku yawned because he was up all night trying to gather information on any villains that would try to infiltrate the school through the guise of a student. With no luck, he walks into the living room to get a breather. "Hay little listener how are you doing?" present mic asked used to the boy being up this early. "Nothing again but there are possibilities this time" izuku stretched out his wings the most he could in the tiny house. 

It was 6 in the morning and izuku went to the coffee maker when Yamada stopped him "nope little listener you can't have that remember" izuku just groaned in annoyance because since he has moved in with the two makeshift parents he has been restricted to only thinks he can digest properly. "But caffeine mic! I need it to survive!" he declared to mic. "No, you don't" he dragged the owl boy back into the living room with izuku grumbling about 'how it isn't fair'.

"Im sorry that your body can't fully and safely digest caffeine but we will not have you risk it today maybe later. But today is the day you get your letters for if you passed or not" he sat the boy down and continued to speak "how bout you go and rest till the letters come kiddo" izuku huffed but reluctantly nodded. He went back to his room and Yamada sighed "i can't believe the owl boy who can't have caffeine is addicted to coffee."

Later in the day Aizawa knocked on the owl's door "problem child the letters are here" izuku walked out seeming tired but he nodded to Aizawa. "They are on the coffee table kaminari is already there" izuku trudged to the couch and rubbed his eyes. Denki was stiff on the couch seeming nervous when izuku sat down, "why stiff kami? You know you passed" izuku said, and Denki nervously laughed "i know but it's still a test you know im always anxious bout tests" izuku nodded in response.

"Well, what are you waiting for open them!" Yamada excitedly expressed. The boys swiftly opened them. Izukus's letter had a hologram and it was of a booming voice then showed all might. He quickly turned off the hologram opting to read the letter not feeling interested in the #1 hero. Denki's showed present mic and addressed that he passed the exam with 56 villain points and 0 hero points 10th on the leaderboard. A big grin formed on denki's face feeling accomplished of himself izuku just smiled at his friend's excitement.

"What did you get zu?" Denki pestered to know because izuku turned off his hologram. "Well Denki i got #1st as we planned" he shrugged present mic hugged both "good job both of you! We are so proud!!" seeming to vibrate with energy. Izuku was stunned and didn't know what to do but hug back. "Now that's done izuku we have something for you here" Aizawa got his husband off the boys and handed the boy a small box. Izuku proceed to open it only to be more confused than before. It was a pair of glasses "it's to help you because we did some research because of your quirk you rub your eyes every time you come out of your room because your eyesight is too powerful as an owl's even when you eat you close your eyes! Even if it may be cute to us it may cause issues for you because you can't see close up so these glasses are to-"

Hizashi was cut off by a hug from the boy. It took the others by surprise "hey i got you" izukus wig started to rap around present mic and he muffled something "what did you say kiddo?" mic asked not hearing "thank you" izuku repeated. Mid patted the owl's head "no problem kiddo" after a few minutes izuku finally let go and sat back down on the couch. He gently picked up the glasses and put them on he blinked a few times with his eyes dilating a bit. Once they adjusted to the chance he had a big smile on his face with now being able to see things closer up. 

"School starts at 8:45 well you guys will be there sooner but the first day is in a few days you guys already have your uniforms we got them with the letters. Shota will be your homeroom teacher. Even so, he will have to act like you don't know who he is alright? He has a little shtick and reputation at school that the big softy has to keep" the boys nodded "also you have to get a semi-normal sleeping schedule and im looking at you 'Mr. i need coffee even if i can't digest it" izuku groned and the others laughed.

It's now the first day of school as usual izuku is up early in the morning seeming as if he's wide awake when Denki is still a little half asleep even if he's used to waking up early because of the commission. It's about 6 in the morning they all head off to the school by the time they get there Denki is a little more awake "okay we are going to the teacher's lounge for a first-day meeting just head to class 1-A its down that hallway to the right see your kiddos later!" mic said dragging off Aizawa in his sleeping bag. 

They head off to the classroom Denki goes to a desk and immediately falls asleep again. Izuku sighs at his friend's antics but then sits down at a desk near a window in case something happens and he needs to leave quickly. He pulls out a computer and starts to do some more work seeing if he can't find out whos threatening the school. 

By the time class is about to start Denki has gone to faking being asleep to create an image for others. Others have started to fill in the room. A bit ago the blue-haired boy who tried to say he was distracting other people in the entrance exam walked in. he went off at izuku about how he was wrong or something but izuku really didn't listen to the boy. Though izuku opted to read a book a bit through the ranting of the blue glasses.

Soon a certain blond boy walks through the doors only for the explosive boy to release a few small pops of the green-haired owl. A wave of feelings washed over the new blond, but izuku has yet to even look up from his book. The blond quickly sits infront of the owl hoping to reconnect with the boy not knowing what to say to him. Izuku looks up and falters for a second but quickly recovers and acts like everything is the same. "Deku?" a bit rough of a voice said. Izuku flinched at the old nickname. 

By the time bakugo was going to talk to him Aizawa was already standing in the classroom waiting for his class to notice before he announced "okay. It took eight seconds before you quieted down. You, kids, are not rational enough" Aizawa seemed mad. "I am your teacher Aizawa Shota take these and go to bata ground 0" he tossed gym outfits on the teacher's podium. 

A lot of the kids seemed excited and went to head to the dressing rooms. With a lot of eyes on izuku, he was getting a bit uncomfortable with the feeling of being watched so he changed as quickly as he could but someone managed to say something to him "wow that's so manly with the scars! how did-" the comment from the redhead made him flinch. Someone budded in " MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS SHITTY HAIR!" the explosive blond seemed to explode at him. 

Izuku quickly went out of the dressing room to bata 0 to Aizawa. Aizawa saw the hurry in izuku "you okay problem child?" he tried to sound stern but was worried for the green-haired boy. Izuku just nodded and explained "someone pointed out my scars in the dressing room that's all"

Aizawa nodded.

It took a bit before anyone else came out to the training field Aizawa wasn't in the best mood because of it. By the time everyone came out he was impatient. "It took you too long to change what if there was a villain when you were changing? But to get on with what we are doing as i said before i am your teacher. And today"

"What about the welcoming ceremony?" a girl that looked a bit normal asked interrupting Aizawa. Izuku felt sorry for the kids because of her. Aizawa glared with his red eyes at the girl using his quirk. "Because if UAs unique teaching i am not required to have you attend that. I will be conducting a physical exam but you will be using quirks so i can gauge your quirk usage you will be scored on this and the one who gets the lowest will be expelled!" mummers and gasps could be heard throughout the kids.

"THAT'S NOT FAIR!" the same brown hair girl yelled at Aizawa "is natural disasters fair? Or power-hungry villains? if you can't do that then you will be sent home because you will all be pushed to your limits. It's our job to make things fair"  everyone went silent now taking in the severity of the class and what it means. 

The physical tests were simple and izuku had no issues Denki from others' views seemed to be struggling he was low on the leaderboard around the 15th spot while izuku stood at 1st. It was time for the ball toss. Aizawa stood infront and explained how to do it and why "it's the same as when you were in junior high but this time you won't have any restrictions but the circle you see. Midoriya come up here and demonstrate because you scored the highest on the exam." 

There were gasps from the crowd from what the teacher said izuku looked back to see an angry blond clutching his fists. Izuku steps into the circle and demonstrates by slightly tossing up the ball and slamming it with his wing hitting it far away Aizawa holds up a phone showing 820m shocking a lot of the kids and making a lot excited. 

After everyone has gone and the final scores have been posted everyone was laughing and having fun but one kid who had purple hair and eye bags seemed to have gotten last. He seemed to have accepted his fate as to be sent home. "Good job everyone go home and rest," Aizawa said surprisingly some of the kids mainly the purple-haired boy.

Izuku was about to start to leave before bakugo screams "DEKU WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN" seeming to be hostile the purple-haired boy and Aizawa rushed to izuku. Aizawa rapped the explosive boy up in his light grey scarf. Denki and the purple-haired boy were both between the explosive blond and izuku "he's not hostile" the owl boy sighed "that's just his personality" all three of them look at izuku confused. "You know him?" Denki asked the owl nodded awkwardly "I knew him when i was young but we haven't had any contact since then."

"Okay then ill still drag him off though because he shouldn't go to violence so quickly," Aizawa said while dragging him away. The other two who's there were confused "what just happened" izuku shrugged at the question from the blond. The three started to just chat when someone walked over seeming bubbly and she said in a happy tone "Hi deku!" the voice made izuku flinch but he turned to the girl "im urarka!" the other two seemed cool with her but izuku spoke up "please do not call me that" she tilted her head "why not it's a cute name!" he corrected her "it's not my name nor is it cute its an insult known to be useless."

"Well it's cute it sounds like 'you can do it!' so ima use it!" izuku snapped, "i said not to so please do NOT use it please do not make me tell you again i am sorry but i need to go" izuku walked off and Denki followed behind leaving shinso confused and irritated at the girl who didn't listen.

When the boys got back to the house, Izuku sat on the couch and started to preen his feathers to calm himself down. Denki looked worried for the owl boy "you okay izuku? Your preening" izuku stops and curses at himself for preening again because he was always yelled at for it at the commission. "What's going on little listeners? Also what preening?" Yamada looked curious about the owl boy.

"It's something im not-"

"Preening is when a bird straightens their feathers with their beak but for izuku, it is usually with his hands unless he's really irritated then maybe with his mouth. But most birds really dislike their feathers being disordered. But izuku usually only does it without meaning when he's irritated or stressed tho when pointed out he stops immediately because the commission ye-"

"Denki, that's not something that needs to be said!" izuku wings fluffed more, almost trying to seem bigger. "Kiddo, it's something you do subconsciously to calm down. If it helps, do it alright? Remember we are not the commission you can do what you want." Yamada patted the child's head to reassure him. Izuku nodded reluctantly then mic spoke again "but what in the first place made you feel the need to preen? Is it the loud blond that tried attacking you?" 

"What no no no! Well, he probably contributed to it but not the main reason kac- i mean bakugo isn't a bad person just a big personality he's a childhood friend that i kinda lost contact with when the commission took me in. I was able to make sure he was okay when I was there though, but I digress the reason i think it's uraraka she used the name bakugo used for me when inherently it's an insult. She ignored me saying it was and continued to say it sounded cute or whatever when the only person I would even allow to call me that, is bakugo."

You could tell as the boy was talking that she got really under his feathers as they adjusted. "Okay if anything else happens with her address it to me or shota okay kiddo? Also, dinner isn't too far off of being ready go destress from school we will talk during dinner" the kids nodded and did what they wanted till dinner was ready to calm down.
