That day

That day, humanity was given a grim reminder, humanity was reminded that its place at the top could still be threatened.

On that fateful day, a large crack appeared in the sky, blowing away the clouds and tainting the beautiful blue sky, the windows of nearby skyscraper were shattered, the birds that dared to fly near the crack, dropped down from the sky, only leaving red stains as a warning.

The crack stayed as it was for an hour, a whole hour, a short hour, the authorities barely had the time to make a decision that the crack expended, from within the crack, one clawed hand came, pushing for the crack to open further and then a second, then a third and then a fourth, the four clawed hands, two for each side pushed the crack to open up fastern soon allowing the gigantic being to get its head through the portal.

A face with nothing but flesh on it, a pale grey skin reminiscent of a corpse, it pushed its whole body through the crack, landing on the street, due to its size, the force of the impact blew away cars and some buildings, everyone in a large radius were instantly turned to grounded meat.

The monster stood at its full height on its hind legs, overlooking the city, suddenly, a mouth appeared on its face, few were the ones that could see it happen after its deadly landing but many were able to see the consequence of it.

The monster reeled its head back before shooting out a massive red beam, nothing could resist it, the earth was pierced to its core on the full lenght of where the beam had hit, things nearby were turned to crisps in an instant due to the heat the beam emitted.

The people that had managed to not be in the area of effect of its first deadly moves all started running away with whatever they had.

The monster simply used its massive hands to dig in the ground and grab the structures of buildings that still stood before throwing the stone and whatever was along with it in all direction, causing a litteral rain of debris, the number and the size of the debris were so great that the amount of people crushed was enormous, getting hit right in the face was very likely.

The mind of the people could barely comprehend what was happening, were anyone to yell for something to do they would either not register the voice or follow the words as if they were gospel.

People prayed to their god, unbeknowst to them that even with all of their will gods couldn't interfere in the mortal worlds, if they did, they would be in for a burning surprise.

After the divine, there was only one thing to clutch to, the government that had to do something quickly and quick they were, in but a bit of time, helicopters were already not so far from the towering monster.

However, even before getting in range to act, the monster put its four hands its side, its hands extended, showing its palms before clapping its hands together, causing two distinct rush of winds to befall the helicopters, they were slightly done apart from on another, causing two shockwaves to hit them in sucession, the first one had been enough to burst the eardrums of those inside and cause them to lose control but the second one truly dug their graves.

Noticing that no one else seemed to be ready to trouble it, the monster once again stood tall, spreading its arms, mouths and maws appeared all over its body, as blood accumulated in its mouths, a great sense of dread was felt throughout the world, the source of it wasn't the monster surprisingly, it may have been the cause of such dread but what was felt was the dread of another being.

The world will was trembling in fear, in such a world, the world will was extremely fragile, it may be able to endure the destruction caused by humans and their machines but the monster was from somewhere else and its attack were inherently a bit different from what was in this world, the first blood beam had managed to wound the world will as it was directly linked to the earth, were the monster able to complete that attack, the world will feared that this world may crumble from its own death.

The divergence of the world will was clear to see, dread, fear, a wish to exist longer, such things were not supposed to be felt by a world will, a world will was supposed to operate similarly to the system, like a machine.

World wills would be replaced eventually, just about every world would one day die out and be reborn again, letting place to a new world will, whatever the inhabitants did to prevent it was fine but having a world will trying to save itself was not supposed to happen.

The monster or rather, the venerer, hitman of the father jumped up as its counteless maws shot out a powerful blood beam, piercing through this fragile world, the world was turned into a swiss cheese and splitted apart, such destruction would make the process of its rebirth difficult but it was of no importance in the eyes of anyone, the humans cared about their lives and so did the world will, the venerer had no care for such things and the father didn't care about much in general, nobody cared that the world was destroyed in this instant, such things would only come if they were survivors and there wouldn't be any.

The strength of the blood beams was so that the earth crumbled down, slowly falling down, its beams had shot through this earths moon and sun as well, giving for a truly all out apocalypse of the worst kind.

The venerer didn't care much for the aesthetics of a crumbling world and it instead stayed a bit longer but as soon as it felt its mission accomplished, it jumped back into the crack, disappearing from this world and returning to the root, the crack closed off as nothing remained.
