A venerer was supposedly only supposed to appear when a world will diverged from its original purpose but as happened multiple times and as was common occurence, exceptions came in bulks, just like with everything else the rule wasn't absolute, no matter what rule, none were.
Despite it apparence with neatly put numbers and usually clear and straightforward descriptions, the system was very much aligned with the constance of contradiction, one a few had already noticed and that one believed fervently in.
The tower of mov, as it was called, was another proof of the rule not being enforced as it was presented, this world wasn't common to begin with, as the father had made a most strange dream and had ended up creating a world by scooping up things from the Sympan Skoupidia, many were things from past worlds but the Sympan Skoupidia also held images of many other things, things that were still happening or of people that hadn't actually met their ends.
This was how the tower of mov had come to be, a world that was nothing but a tower that stretched to infinite proportions in every directions but still retained the appearance of a normal tower on the outside.
A world created due to the woe the father had felt for the various holders of the color of mov, this world was made accessible to basically any other world in theory.
The tower was a place of challenge were one would be forced to fight against copies of the holders, a simple fact that spelled their doom for most, leading to the belief for people who hadn't gone to the tower and lived that it was nothing but a dimension that instantly killed the people sent to it.
Since making even a copy of the original venerer seemed ridiculous, in its place was put the same kind of venerer that would be sent to a divergent world and it took upon a form fitting for this specific duty it had among its brethen.
Darks spots had appeared on its grey skin, making it seem like it was wearing a full set of armor, the claws on its right hand were freakishly long and seemed capable of cutting through anything on its other hand, the claws had taken an unusual shape and had covered its hand to form a shield.
The order in which a person of group of people would be forced to fight against images of the holders of the color of mov was completely random.
The arena style of the rooms were the fights took place could potentially give some of the two sides a great adventage depending on their enemie, it wasn't the case with the venerer, it had been molded specifically for this.
For the unlucky person who had had the misfortune of falling into this world, the venerer would be its first foe, whether it was one of the better holders to end up against could be discussed but it certainly had less chance to try and torture the challenger.
As the unlucky man entered the room, unsure of where he was and what was about to happen, the usual thing happened, the father seemed to have been feeling theatrical when he had dreamed of this peculiar world, as the torches slowly lighted up the room, enough for the man to see what looked like a long dead persin crawling across the floor toward him.
"I-It's coming! The hunter is here! Please..." the crawling corpse spoke before being crushed by the venerer's foot.
The man didn't even have the time to take in the information that the venerer had already started to run toward him, forcing him to get combat ready immediately, he raised his halberd in defensive postion but chose at the last second to dash away, dodging the claw swipe instead, he was certain that defending against these claws was the worst mistake he could make.
The venerer's turned to face the man, revealing an open purple eye on its shield as it formed a mouth of a peculiar cone-like shape and letting out a powerful howl, the wave of pure sound disoriented the man and made him lose his footing for a second, allowing the venerer to swoop in and leave a nasty cut on the man's side, whose armor had done nothing to protect him.
For the man, there was no defending from the strikes, neither his strength nor equipment could allow him to do that, he put one of his hands over the wound, trying to stop the injury from beeding too much, a fool's errand.
The venerer once again opened a mouth but this time it was much larger, the man thought that another sound wave would hit him but instead of being disorientated for a few seconds, a beam of boiling blood shot toward him, taking his right arm and weapon as it went.
The heat of the beam prevented blood from leaking from the missing arm but it might as well have been as the pain and realisation of losing one of his limbs crashed over the man, causing him to completely forget to pay attention to the venerer.
He was impaled through the chest all of the venerer's claws and died as his body was tossed against the ground with brutal strength.
The venerer, having done its job walked back to its usual place as the flames were extinguished, the two dead bodies disappeared, the stage was ready for the next play.
Inside of the tower, pretty much only the venerer was the real deal, the other holder of the color of mov couldn't simply be copied to the perfection and were thus not as strong as they should be, their personalities were also rather lackluster compared to the real ones and with the way the father had set up the combat, very impressive and theatrical phases of the fights, they clearly weren't at their best, so the fact that not anyone had managed to clear the tower was rather concerning.
So as to make the whole thing more feasible, at least in the minds of the challengers, the father added other fights to the tower, this time putting foes and allies of the holders, it depended in which but many of thel should be much easier to defeat than the holders themselves, the new additions were also weaker as well, with that the father hoped to see more struggle and less giving up.
He also added music to the fights, the nearby offsprings of the father were starting to thing the father had been influenced by something else.
Today, I made some lore for my linked stories, if you haven't read them yet, I would encourage you to!
Also, don't hesitate to offer your own ideas! The possibilities are endless with venerers.
