If Telling You The Truth Is Foolish, Then I Will Gladly Be A Fool!
"Of all people, I thought that you are the only person that will understand me but it seems I am wrong about you too, unfortunately, you are also a fool" Malcom sigh.
"If telling you the truth is foolish, then I will gladly be a fool" Master Zach chuckled towards the end of his sentence.
"Since it comes down to this, I will have to kill you too" Malcolm sigh in regret as he wave his hand.
The mindless beast all charge towards Master Zach at this moment, it is a scary scene because it's not just one part but it's all the monsters coming out of the portal!
"So serious? I am but a frail old man now" Master Zach laughed.
A black sword silently appeared beside Master Zach which he grabbed, as if coming back to life from Master Zach touching it, the sword releases a roar and with a whoosh, it erupted with a bright red flame!
"Old Friend, it seems that we still have to work together" Master Zach said to which the sword hum.
"You still have that with you?" Malcolm is shocked, that was a sword Master Zach used in his prime!
"Yes of course, I have been saving it for a rainy day" Master Zach grinned.
The beast tide charged towards Master Zach like a tidal wave, Master Zach straightened his back and face it with his sword at the ready!
"Great flame wave" Master Zach horizontally wave his sword at the crashing wave of monsters, a large wave appeared just that it is made up of flames!

The sound of flesh burning is clearly heard, the flame engulf all of the charging monsters and their skins are already charred black while some of them have already died under the assault of the flames!
"Let's see how you are going to deal with this one" Malcolm grinned as a figure appeared from the portal!

It landed on the ground kicking up a cloud of dust, the dust cleared out to reveal a burly man- No he is no man, he is something else.
"A demon…" Master Zack mumbled and use both of his hands to hold the sword.

The demon disappeared as if it teleported but that is not the case, it is just very fast!
'Here!' Master Zach thought and brought his sword upward to block.

A resounding clank is heard as the demon fully appeared, it is definitely above 7 feet tall, it has veiny body and large muscles with a brutal sword that doesn't seems to be a sword meant for cleanly cutting opponents, because it has jagged ages!

It jump back and is dashing forward to attack Master Zach, Master Zach's eyes constricted as he read his movement.
'From the right' Master Zach thought.

Master Zach tilted his body slight and evaded the attack, he slashed with his sword with extreme precision and aim for the demon's neck!
"GRR!" It felt the danger and calamity that will soon befall it and jump back by instinct.

The sword slash its head instead of its neck, at the moment of the collision, the flames on the sword flares up slightly above its normal level!

Master Zach is just about to continue with his assault when he had the sound of something whistling through the air, without wasting time, the flames on the blade flare up from Master Zach's control which he slashed towards the unknown thing!

It exploded and at the moment of collision, Master Zach has noticed what it is, it is dark energy, something he is incredibly familiar with it in the sense that he work with some of its users, while also fighting a lot of foes that possess this ability.
"You have turn to dark arts? Such vile aura" Master Zach exclaimed.

Master Zach expertly dodged the demon's attack while keeping an eye on Malcolm.
The demon imbued his attack with a lot of power and aim to brutally behead Master Zach, the attack is very fast!
Master Zach has already saw that coming and duck down which help him not only avoid a fatal disaster but also grants him an opportunity, he can just cut the demon in half extremely fast because he is vulnerable after that swing, his abdomen is completely vulnerable!
Master Zach plans to take o that chance and cut him in half, his blade is inches away from its abdomen when the balde suddenly turn in a weird angle by itself and Master Zach is surprised but not unhappy because this companion will never put him in danger!
"Explode" Master Zach softly said.
The demons body where his sword hit earlier exploded which pushed the demon back while Master Zach finally saw why the sword turn at the last moment!
It's just as he thought, the sword turn at that angle just so that it can deflect a sneak attack from Malcolm!
Master Zach raised his head to glance at Malcolm only to see about 6 swirling dark energy balls around him!
"Tch, it's not like you are the only one that can do that!" Master Zach's Aether exploded as eight fireballs appeared then another eight appeared surrounding him!
Swoosh! Swoosh! SWOOSH!

Master Zach bombarded the duo with the fireballs, flames erupted from his body as he charge forward!
The demon has just finish taken his own share of the fireballs when he saw a flaming human right before him with a flaming sword in a swinging motion, it knows what is about to happened but is powerless to stop it!
Master Zach trusty flame sword slice through the demon's neck sending its head flying while its body collapse on the spot, the once imposing demon is nothing but corpse now!
The blood on MASTER Zach's sword is completely burned by its flame, Master Zach turn his attention to Malcolm.
"I must say, you are quiet good for a new dark mage" Master Zach smiled and dash towards him!
"Clasp!" Malcolm shouted at the last moment.
"oh…" Master Zach who is midflight exclaimed while he turn his way in an almost impossible angle, he got a bad feeling that if he continued, it will result in a catastrophe and he is right!
