Dragon Contractor
Before Aoki (currently Leon) was reincarnated in the world of fantasy.
He was simply a regular student living in Japan with his parents.
His habit was to read novels. Mostly the type of novels in which the villains are not as evil as everyone portrays them.
Everyone had their own story; some kept it hidden, while others revealed it through real-world actions. Aoki enjoyed reading such novels whenever he had free time or almost all of the time.
But why am I telling you all this? Well...
Because Aoki was unique, he appeared to be a normal introvert in daylight who read novels all day long. But when night fell, things were not the same for Aoki.
The same introvert who spent all of his time reading novels wandered around the city. With a very mysterious aura surrounding him.
People walking around him were uncomfortable whenever they passed him.
Why was he roaming around the city? It was quite simple...
Because he was capturing criminals. You may believe it was for some sort of justice. Who catches criminals with their bare hands?
Nah, he did it so he could kill them while having fun. He held a metal rod in his hand. He was always hiding behind a mask.
A metal rod versus guns? It would be an unfair match, don't you think? No, the match will not be unfair because, as I previously mentioned, Aoki was unique. A monster concealed within a weak human body.
He possessed superhuman speed and strength. Aoki can handle anyone with ease, but always act weak.
A blessed human, but it does not matter because Aoki, like everyone else, must face his fate one day. Does not matter who he or anyone else is.
He was reincarnated into a new world where everything appeared to be fantasy, such as stories told to children or in novels.
Everything seemed normal to him. He was born a poor child but later received divine blessings.
Since his mysterious self had not vanished, he continued to kill criminals for fun. But this was sealed away when the holy blessings were bestowed on him.
What remained was a boy of pure goodness. But now... the beast has awakened after such a long time.
Leon remarked, "These monsters in front of me look quite tough."
Leon was staring down at the monsters who were standing next to him at a distance.
He was holding the dagger, whose blade was still in black flames.
The orc standing beside the red monster felt a burning sensation at the spot where Leon had cut his skin with the dagger.
Roar...
The orc roared in pain as black flames emerged from the skin cut and began to burn his body.
Ha, ha, ha, "Was that all?" A monster-like orc is easily killed by the flames!!?" Leon said in his evil-sounding voice.
The orc's entire body was burned in seconds, and it collapsed to the ground, fried.
The red monster did not react much to the burned orc, only giving it a silent stare before shifting his gaze away to Leon.
Both of them made eye contact before Leon charged at him.
Wizzzzz...
He ran extremely fast as Leon got closer to the standing red monster, who stood and stared at approaching Leon.
Leon just passed the monster and dashed towards the other monsters, who charged at him as they saw Leon approaching.
Slice... Slice... Slice...
Except for the red monster, all of the monsters had parts of their bodies cut off.
Leon's dragon slayer blade was covered in blood, which was dripping on the ground as he stood with his back to the monsters.
The monsters with severed legs fall to the ground, while some have their heads and arms severed.
Leon's smile widened, revealing his teeth; he was enjoying it.
This is enjoyable; my true self satisfies me. Things would have been more enjoyable if I had this when I was blessed, but those who are good for nothing just sealed it away.
He shifted his gaze back to see the injured monsters and gave them a very serious stare; the monsters sensed the danger and killing intent emanating from Leon.
Poof...
!!!!
Slice, slice, slice...
Leon vanished from sight and reappeared behind the monsters. Only the sound of sword movement could be heard before Leon appeared behind them.
Thud... Thud... Thud...
Their heads fall to the ground, along with their lifeless bodies.
[you have killed all the hidden monsters]
[only one is remaining]
Leon shifted his gaze to the red monster, who was silently observing the scenery of a human standing next to the dead bodies of monsters, with blood flowing on the floor.
While staring at the red monster, Leon sensed a strong aura surrounding it. He paid close attention to it. Something that appeared to be a dragon was visible to Leon behind the red monster.

Leon's expression turned to seriousness, and his eyes shone brightly.
"Show me that monster's rank. I believe he is not like the other monsters I just killed."
[yes, you are correct]

"So that is why he was so strong; since I am a S rank, dealing with him will be easier."

"I know. I can not forget that part. I need to end him before the timer runs out because I still have to kill the black crystal dragon."

He looked at the red monster, who had folded his arms and was patiently waiting for Leon to attack him.
Sigh...
How can a monster form a contract with a red dragon? Did such a thing ever exist, or was it just that I had never encountered someone like him?
Leon smiled and pointed his dragon slayer at the red monster.
"I hope you can give me a good fight before I kill you."
The red monster smiled at Leon before releasing his folded arm and woosh.
He vanished from the scene and reappeared next to Leon.
Huh?!!...
The monster moved his leg back and struck Leon in the face.
Clang...
The monster kick was unable to strike Leon's face because it was blocked by Leon's dragon slayer, blade.
Tch... "What a pain; you are not going to be easy to deal with."
