Chapter 9

Although it would be a good idea to "find" an old book buried somewhere in Konoha by pure chance, it's actually a problem to do so, and, above all, it's difficult to prove where I got the book from.

Whereas, if I buy it from someone else, everything can be explained much more easily.

I'm not saying it's easy to explain, but at least they won't have as many doubts about me that way.

Anyway, as I walked the streets of Konoha, everything seemed so surreal.

(Amazing, even from here I can see how the veins are popping out of his forehead, it seems like he's about to activate his Byakugan), I thought to myself as I watched the Uchiha ninja who seemed like he was about to explode at any moment.

But in the end, he just sighed before showing what I believe is his killing intent along with the Sharingan before he started speaking and scolding the people with a stern face.

And I say I just believe it was killing intent, because only those people were affected, looking at the Uchiha with fear as he scolded them before taking the villager somewhere in the village with a snort.

"Damn Uchiha, they all should die."

"The Second Hokage should have eliminated them all while he had the chance."

"I heard that the Nine-Tailed Fox incident three years ago was started by the patriarch of the Uchiha clan."

Looking at the crowd of people who suddenly started complaining about things that had nothing to do with the event that had just happened, I began to regret sleeping in this morning, as I might have been able to catch a Root ninja disguised as someone else at this moment.

Although I highly doubt that a Root ninja would actually dare to appear in front of an Uchiha in this situation... Well, I better change my words, as I'm sure that as long as Danzo orders it, he will do it.

But what I mean is that I really doubt that an Uchiha who has opened their eyes should be able to see when a person is transformed or not, although I still don't have a complete idea of how chakra works to transform into another person and how the person changes, it shouldn't be something very complicated or difficult to detect, otherwise, I think no matter how foolish Danzo is, he would kill the daimyo and replace him with one of his subordinates.

It may seem very crazy to do in this world, but one should not underestimate Danzo in the slightest, in fact, quite the opposite, since, following the logic of this world, as long as something bad has happened, it must have Danzo's shadow in some way.

I know it sounds very paranoid of me, but in this world, really everything bad seems to have a shadow of Danzo behind it... Well, the only ones who were saved from having Danzo's shadow behind them are Obito and Rin, but even so, that pair has the shadow of Madara (black Zetsu).

Although I really don't know which of the two is worse at causing disasters, as I'm pretty sure both Madara and Danzo are the keys to a lot of suffering in the ninja world, just talking about who you could fare worse with if you fall into their hands, I bet you could fare worse with Danzo.

I mean, in the worst case, Madara makes you see your love interest die and brainwashes you, and in the best case, he just kills you.

While with Danzo it's another story, in fact, I'm sure there are options to choose from, such as: being tortured to get all your secrets out, having your brainwashed and turned into a machine without feelings, being turned into experimental material, and of course, the classic simply being killed on the spot.

With Danzo, there are options, but all the options ensure a very bad death, except for the option of killing you instantly, as I am sure that, if you are a normal person, you won't even know how he killed you.

But that's not very comforting, while dealing with Madara is much easier: either he makes you his subordinate or he kills you, without suffering in between, unless you are an Uchiha whose PowerUps depend on pain and not on the power of friendship.

(... This is a really strange world, I can't believe that although it looks like a medieval world, it has an electronics store) I thought to myself in amazement as I looked at the cameras in a store where there was a wooden shelf and a person was trying to sell what looked like a wooden radio.

If I'm not mistaken, I had read in many places that the technology of the Naruto world was "twisted", or rather, its technological tree was twisted, since there were things like computers, radios, televisions, VCRs, videotapes, and more, but at the end of the day, the world seemed to be in the Middle Ages. I mean, at some point in my life, I even remember Kakashi talking on the phone, although it was the typical corded phone, but it was a phone.

That's just crazy, but I won't say much because, somehow, all of this gave me a new feeling, which without a doubt was something pretty good since later I could at least buy a radio to entertain myself, although I highly doubt that there is anything that can really satisfy my musical tastes in this world, but something is better than nothing.

My project delivery week is finally over, so I can start posting chapters again with relative regularity, although I still can't promise anything, because I just finished delivering my project but the next one has just started😢.
