Chapter 18: Egg Hatched

Kazrach, the Demon Prince, watched with fascination as the egg he had been given by the magical eagle finally hatched. He had droppedsome of his own blood on the egg, as he had been instructed to do, and now a magnificent creature was emerging from the shell.

Now, as he watched the tiny creature emerge from the egg, he felt a sense of excitement building within him.

The eagle that came out of the egg was like nothing Kazrach had ever seen before. It had shimmering red feathers that seemed to catch the light and make it dance around the room. Its eyes were a deep purple that glowed as they fixed on Kazrach, as if they could see right through him.

Kazrach held out a hand, and the eagle hopped into it, unfurling its wings to their full length. It was still small, but Kazrach could sense that it would grow quickly. "You are mine," Kazrach said to the eagle, his voice filled with wonder. "My own personal guardian."

The eagle chirped in response, and Kazrach felt a thrill of pleasure run through him. He had always been fascinated by creatures like this, and now he had one of his very own.

As the days passed, Kazrach watched as his eagle grew stronger and more beautiful. Its feathers now glinted in the sunlight, and its wingspan was impressive. It followed him wherever he went, perching on his shoulder or hovering above him as he moved about his kingdom.

Kazrach called the eagle "Ruchna," which meant "protector" in his native tongue. And indeed, Ruchna had become Kazrach's most trusted and loyal companion. Wherever Kazrach went, Ruchna was there to watch over him, to warn him of danger, and to fight at his side if necessary.

Ruchna was always eager to please Kazrach, but also fiercely protective of him. Kazrach, in turn, treated Ruchna with respect and love, understanding that he was not just a mere animal, but a powerful and intelligent creature in his own right.

Together, they roamed the demon kingdom, as they went, Kazrach often murmured to himself about the magical eagle from the forest, and how thankful he was for the gift it had given him. Without that egg, without the drop of blood, he would never have had Ruchna, his beloved companion.
