Iron Man Mk 2

On the plane ride back I explained what I am and my powers.

At first he thought I just created some tech to do what I did, that was until I showed him that I had nothing else on but regular clothes then he has no choice but to believe me

When we landed Pepper and his driver happy, along with Rhodes was waiting for use on the runway.

To everyone's surprise before anyone said anything tony went to pepper and hugged her, he also tried to kiss her but Rhodes interrupted.

"It looks like you really miss some of use more then the others.

how was the funvee? Next time you ride with me."

A little unsure with what he's going to say "yeah, sure next time." As he walks to his car.

As we leave the runway we get a call saying tony called a press conference at his headquarters.

Once we are all inside the building a shield agent went up to pepper to setup a meeting.

Then tony makes the shocking announcement that he's "shutting down the weapons division, effective immediately."

For the next few days while I was working with tony, the news had a hey day with the shocking news tony announced.

Tony asked me to help him with his new arc reactor since I worked on the original.

So for the next few days that's all we did, we built a new one that had more power and is harder to break.

After he built the first one I built him another, you just never know when it'll be needed.

The next day tony talked me into going to the military base with him, we are here to get Rhodes to be part of his Ironman project.

I already told him that he wouldn't want to be involved since it's not for the military, but no one listens to me so I finally agreed to come just so I can laugh at him when he fails.

As we walk towards we see that he's talk to a group of pilots.

"Is it maned or Un-maned, in my experience no non maned vehicle will ever trump the experience and intuition of a pilots instinct."

"Colonel Why not the pilot without the plane."Tony said while we walk next to him.

Rhodes announced. "Look who fell out of the sky, Mr. Tony stark,

And let's not forget the elusive Mr. Ethan mikealson."

"Talking about manned or unmanned, you have to ask him about that one time in spring break.

Remember spring break 1987, that lovely lady you woke up next to, what was his name Ivan?" Tony says while shaking the pilots hands.

I walk next to Rhodes "no, it was Ivan first then George."

Shaking his head "don't, don't do that, please they will believe you.

Give us a couple of minutes, your dismissed"

Looking at tony, Rhodes. "I'm surprised to see you moving around so soon."

"He wouldn't be if it wasn't for me, I had to put some espresso in him."

"Funny." looking back to Rhodes "I'm doing a little better then walking Rhody, we are working on something big and we, well I want you to be part of it."

Rhodes smiled. "you're about to make a whole lot of people happy around here, that little stunt you pulled at the conference got us all worried.

Looking at me "why didn't you want me involved."

I put my hands up " it's not that I don't want you to be involved, I know we're wasting our time because you won't want to be."

Thinking of how to word it tony says "eh, this one isn't for the military, it stays in house."

Rhodes looks back at me "your right you're wasting your time."

Looking to tony " what are you a humanitarian now?"

Tony "look you need to listen."

"No, what you need tony is time, to get your mind right.

It's nice seeing you tony."

As we walk away "I told you he wouldn't go for it"

"I had to try." Tony defends.

"I should've set a bet, I would of won" I say laughing.

After we get back to Tony's garage he tells Jarvis (his AI) to set up a new file in his private server, labeled mark two.

As he pulls up a hologram of Mk 1. "I still can't believe you built this in that cave, I am impressed."

While spinning the hologram "is that actually a compliment from you, that's hard to come by."

As tap my watch "I guess it is, be proud it won't happen again.

Raphael, you up and informed on the project from Jarvis?"

"Yes master, everything is connected and operational."

Looking at stark "let's slim this suit down."

The first thing we got operational was the boots.

As tony was about to test the boots lifting capability.

" hey before you smash into the ceiling what level of power are you starting at?"

Turning to look at me "10% I want to make sure I can make it off the ground."

"I'd recommend 1%, you don't know how much power trust will push out, and you don't have hand stabilizers, so if you go to far off the ground you'll go into the ceiling."

You can see him think about it for a second. "No, 10% will be just fine I'll barely leave the ground."

I step back " whatever you say. Raphael are you recording this?"

"I'll start recording right away."

Tony walks to the center of the testing pad. " activating hand controls…

Starting at 10% trust capacity to achieve lift.

3. 2. 1.

Pop! Bang!!! Ow…

I walk up to him laughing so hard I almost fell. " I told you 10% would be too high, but you had to prove me wrong."

Still laying on the ground. "shut up that hurt… Help me up."

After a couple days we finally got the hand stabilizers completed, it just needs a few more fine touches and it'll be done.

As tony was putting on the arm to run a test I hear pepper coming down the stairs so before she sees me I run to the other side of the room.

as Pepper walks to tony " I've been buzzing you, didn't you hear the intercom."

As tony tightens a few screws. "Yeah, what what?"

As pepper sets down a box. "Obadiah is upstairs waiting on you."

"Oh ok, I'll be right up." He says as he lifts the stabilizer."

Looking worried "tony! I thought you said you stopped making weapons."

I walked next to her and tapped on her shoulder "I can't wait, he's going to hurt himself just watch."

Tony not paying attention to me. "It's not a weapon it's a flight stabilizer, it's harmless."

As he hits a button the stabilizer powers up and shoots out a blast from its palm, shooting tony backwards onto the ground.

As I'm laughing I look at pepper "see I told you he would"

Pepper runs to his side "tony are you ok!"

"Oh he's fine this isn't the first time, isn't that right." I say while helping him up.

While standing up and taking the arm off. "Yeah I'm fine, I'm glad my pain is giving you enjoyment."

"Oh it is, very much. I'm enjoying this project with you a lot." I say while smiling and walking to the desk.

Walking to the door tony asks "you going up with me to see obi?"

"You know we don't get along, you go ahead I'll be down here." I say while tinkering with a hologram."

"Have fun." He says while heading out the door.

Raphael, are you able to access who has access to the house?

{yes, I have full access}

Good make sure Jarvis doesn't notice you and remove obadiah's access once he leaves.

{what do you take me for, Jarvis will never be the wiser.}

The next day around noon we finally created the second arm and everything that goes with it.

Tony's currently back on the testing pad trying to fly again. "Ok nice and easy, starting at 1% thrust capacity in

He goes in the air and hovers for a second then lands.

"See I told you 1% would be enough to get lift." I mock.

He just stares at me "ok again, but this time let's go to 2.5." He hovers for a second a little higher before he loses control on where he's going and hovers over his cars, but eventually makes his way back to the pad.

Once he lands he states "oh yeah, I can fly."

He puts the rest of the suit on, the whole outer shell.

As Jarvis was about to shutdown the suit to run more diagnostics, tony told him "to do a weather and atc check and start to lock in on ground control."

Are you seriously going to fly right after we get it finished?" I ask?

Looking at me "sometimes you have to run before you can walk."

"That makes no sense at all.

Well if your going to fly, I'll fly with you just in case." I say ready to do a spell.

Tony opened his face plate and looked at me confused. "You can fly, why didn't you tell me you could fly?"

"Because I wanted to make you ask questions when I did." I said before performing the Transmutation spell to change into my finished superhero suit.

Not going to lie I like the suit and the fancy way you did it.

We both take off and fly through the sky.

Im not happy that I have to use wind magic to keep up with tony I'll have to work on that later.

Using Raphael to speak through my phone, tony called me. "Do you think we can beat the SR-71s highest recorded flight?"

Having Raphael tell me what the record is I answer "no, I don't think you can but I know you'll try."

I make a almost invisible air bubble around me and follow after tony.

My higher we go up the more ice builds on the suit.

"Tony, you're not gonna be able to make it much higher your building to much ice."

Through the line. "No, I'll be fine Jarvis punch it."

He goes a little higher before he stops for a second.

I stop next to him and pull the flap to break the ice.

Tony yells "let me go, I got it."

So with his systems still off I let him go.

When he almost hits the ground and a few cars his suit become operational.

He had me worried I almost opened a portal to save him.

We flew back to his house and as we make it to his roof he hovers for a moment.

"Don't kill power you'll."

I couldn't finish my sentence before he killed power to his suit and fell all the way to his basement.
