The Threat Of Death

Turning towards all the sudden noise the Queen perked up her ears as she listened to their squabbling. "Annoying." She wanted to just walk away and be done with it, her position as the current Queen forced her to do something. Walking over she saw them all at each other's throats. People made her a path as she walked into the middle of them all. Once she was there she said hello as she looked at the groups snapping at each other. "It may be annoying but this could be some useful entertainment." Coming up with a plan on the spot she smiled gently as she tried to calm them down.

"As you all know this place is my home, I'd really like it if you didn't spill blood here boys and girls. From the looks of that it might be hard but you can at least show me some respect...right?"

The end of her sentence was far from a question, only a threat. She didn't care who these people were, if she had to use force she would. Hearing the Queen's words the Wolves and Hazel quieted down as they locked onto Xilo. Shrugging his shoulders Xilo gave up trying to wind them up. With the Queen here now, this scenario changed a lot. "They aren't going to back off." Idiots were way too good at being stubborn and the things they did were not so simple that a sorry would fix it. "If we fight, one side dies." Now that they had found each other it was going to happen.

"Respect has nothing to do with any of this. They kidnapped a girl from us and almost killed my student."

Hazel was always the one who hated people who had more authority than her, words alone would not make her shut up and that riled up the others to keep going.

"They also killed our men and stole from us. Just stopping isn't something we can do, they deserve to die."

Laven spoke up this time as well, he didn't care how badly they had to manipulate the events. Anything to make sure the demon in front of him died. Sadly if he had proof he would have just told them Xilo was a demon but that wasn't possible. No one would know unless the Demon himself used their darkness or had an ability similar to his. Hearing their accusations the Queen turned her head as she took a good look at Xilo's group. "Silver hair..." She felt like she had seen and heard about someone similar to this quite recently. "Felli's...friend?" She felt like that was right but at the same time it felt wrong.

"Liars through and through."

Xilo couldn't stop himself from saying that as Relia hid her body behind him slightly. "Enough, enough."

Before they started fighting again the Queen rushed out her Astral Energy and pinned them all in place.

"If you want to continue fighting even with my warning then you'll have to fight me. If you would like to settle your dispute, do it outside the Castle grounds or find some other way to settle it. You're drawing a crowd and setting a bad example for others. For now I ask you to disperse and if you don't listen I will use force and if that isn't enough I can make sure none of you enter the competitions, are you going to give all that up just to kill each other now?"

With a lovely smile the Queen let go of them as she practically dared them to make a misstep. She would gladly kill either group if they tried anything, it was of no concern to her who died. Thankfully Hazel and Laven got the message as they turned around and walked away along with the rest of the crowd. Watching them walk away, Xilo could see them still turning around to watch him every once in a while. "These next few days are going to be tough." They were planning things and now that they seemed to be working together it was going to be difficult to do much. Once the other groups and crowd were gone the Queen walked up to Xilo's group as she looked them all over.

"Hello Zilan, It's been a while since I last saw you."

"You as well Katrin."

Her eyes twitched as Zilan called her name directly but she let it go, he was always like that.

"Helping murderers and kidnappers now eh, I thought you were against those kind of things."

"You know just as well as me they were full of it. These people here are my friends and they're good people. If you want you can always ask your littl-"

"I get the point, and what about you Fiery Clan leader, You usually like to keep to yourself so I was surprised to see you standing next to them."

"Just felt like the right thing to do, nothing more."

Keltal had his reasons but he didn't want to go through the trouble of explaining them. "Althea." He was already shocked to see Xilo here but if Althea were to find out he also let him die so would his whole clan. Thankfully the Queen had shown up before an actual fight broke out. He was still recovering from his sickness and couldn't exactly fight just yet without pushing himself a lot. "They'll try again though." If they couldn't kill Xilo outside of the Castle then the competitions were the next best place to do it. "Just my luck." Shaking his head he walked away after saying goodbye, his small group of people still had things in preparation for this year's events.

Hazel stomped her feet as she walked back to her quarters.

"That damn bitch, if she thinks she's safe just because of the Queen she's dead wrong."

She had a lot of anger stored up because of her and now she could finally release it and even take back the girl that they kidnapped.

"She's here...with them. I need to tell the others."

Quietly she sent a message to Belturn's Leader while Xilo's group talked with the Queen a bit more before getting ready for the first competition in a couple hours.

Enjoy.
