Awakening

Feeling Tearia's body pressed against his own he began to feel some embarrassment building up. Gently pushing her away he looked at her as her face flushed slightly red while he made sure she was okay. He had his gripes with her but those were fading. "It seems she really has changed." Leaving it at that, he waited to see if she wanted to say anything after taking him over here. Seconds passed after their moment but she stayed silent leaving Xilo no choice.

"Is there something you wanted to talk about?"

"uh, uhm, ehhh no no. It's fine."

Stumbling over her words after being spooked Tearia quickly tried to compose herself.

"Alright then let's go back to Felli and get some rest."

"yeah....."

Walking back after that little weird moment Xilo sat back down as Tearia sat down beside him leaning her head on his body as she closed her eyes. "I guess I'll keep watch for a few minutes." Closing his eyes he spread whatever Astral Energy he could around the room. If anyone touched it he would be alerted even if he was asleep. Within minutes the three of them were all soundly sleeping as one red haired man stood over a corpse as he burned it without an ounce of mercy.

"Almost done Zilan?"

"Yea just give me a minute, taking care of some trash."

Watching a woman's brown hair disappear in flames along with the rest of her body he made his way back to Marie. After going through that portal in the room it had brought them to a place full of spikes that blocked all their vision. They had blindly crossed the room until eventually it all broke and he saw Xilo with a woman who was protecting him. Seeing a bit of her strength he figured he would be fine with her help. "Especially after seeing those people creeping around I didn't really have a choice." Thinking back to the brown haired woman and the tricks she tried to play on him, he scowled as he arrived next to Marie.

Their little group had tried to attack them on the way out as they tracked them. They were one of the Wolf Weaver's scouting parties so he figured it was best to take them out before they relayed any information they could to them. "Besides I don't like being tricked twice." Thankfully he was able to fully wipe them out this time and he wouldn't have to deal with them anymore. More wolves were coming to join them soon anyway.

"So what did you find looking around?"

"It seems this might be the last section of the Astral Zone and from our findings we were able to find around twenty or so more rooms that lead off from these three hallways. We didn't go too far so there could be more, we're just not sure yet and lastly the strength of the enemies seemed to have leaped greatly. The three of us together struggled to fight off even just two."

"Then we'll take it slow and explore what this place has to offer. Xilo should also be showing up with his group soon along with even more Wolves over time. We seem to mostly be the first ones here so let's scout the area some more and set up some traps while we see if we can find anything of value in the meantime. We'll make this place the Wolves graveyard."

"Sounds good to me. You heard him you two, let's get searching we got more to explore and things to set up."

""Right.""

Walking alongside them they chose the right path once again as they set up plans for it.

In the middle of a forest on top of a hill one lone ball of fire sat there calmly as the flowers around it began to bloom brightly. With more time passing eventually the sounds of scratching was heard only by the flowers and the wind that dragged it away. Until eventually one small red paw stuck itself out of the ball of fire and exposed itself to the world once more. Pushing it's body out it broke out of it like an egg hatching as another body showed itself.

It was a girl with blue hair tied in twin tails gawking at the beast that had appeared before her as they broke out of the shell. Staring at a Lizard bigger than most dogs as it's red burning scales shined in the sun she was left speechless. She had never seen such a beautiful sight nor would she have thought this was the true form of her friend .Gawking at the lustrous scales she showed off she tried to take in all of the sight as one name barely left her mouth.

"Xelfia?"

Hearing her name be called she turned to look at the girl who helped her named Relia as a weird Lizard smile crossed her face before she turned back to her normal self. Standing tall she checked herself over once more as she looked for anything visible injuries or problems before making sure she was alright. Not finding anything she rubbed Relia's hair as she smiled. It was all thanks to her that she was able to live through that and even gain some unexpected growth and knowledge.

"Yup, It's me. Thank you for helping Relia."

"No...problem."

"While I'm grateful for the help it looks like some time has passed while we were asleep. I wonder where he went off to."

"Xilo?"

"Yeah and hopefully he didn't get into too much trouble without me. He can be quite dumb sometimes. Well Let's go find him shall we?"

Nodding her head she remembered the silver haired boy aws they made their way down the mountain. That whole time Xelfia had been endlessly worried to find Xilo again so she was quite impatient.

"It's been a while…I wonder where you ended up while I was gone. Hopefully not flirting with more women."

With a slightly teasing smile she hoped Xilo was ready for her return.

Enjoy.
