What Are You?

Enjoying the view of the world she had lost for a while Xelfia noticed Relia lagging behind her. She may have been unconscious for most of it but she was aware of her existence until eventually she was able to wake up. After that she had gotten to know Relia a bit more while she continued her healing. Pausing she waited until Relia caught up as she bumped into her back. Turning around she looked down at Relia as she grabbed her shoulders and pushed her in front of her as they started to walk again.

"What seems to be on your mind Relia?"

"That form...you..showed."

"Oh that, I'm not exactly human. I suppose that's something I and you might have in common."

"....?"

"Ahh sorry, It's just this smell you have about you that feels familiar don't worry about it too much."

from her experience in that shell of fire one distinct smell had come from Relia that Xelfia had never noticed before until then. "The smell of a Beast." She wasn't too sure what Relia was just yet though and if she never said anything herself then she wasn't going to push it. Even now Relia seemed to be very shy and awkward around her when there was no need to be. Xelfia already liked her before with the cute aura she gave out but that had just grown more now.

"Familiar..smell?"

Whispering that Relia wondered what Xelfia was talking about. To her knowledge she had always been human so maybe she was just mistaken. "Or she's talking about Azalu however she should also be human right?" Unfortunately she was still asleep so Relia couldn't ask her anything about it. For now she was on her own but at least Xelfia was here. "Xilo..." Feeling her steps align with Xelfia the trees had eventually disappeared from her vision as they met flat ground.

"First things first we should check out the inn back in town and see if we can figure anything out. After that if we don't find him then I have a few ideas where he might have went. Let's hope we find him though."

"Yes..."

"Scared?"

"A bit."

"Yeah, I am as well. We left him in a pretty bad situation...Let's hope we're just over worrying.

Watching the sun begin to set Xelfia and Relia made their way back to the town that they previously visited as Xelfia thought about more of the memories that had showed up in her head. "Am I really one of them or was it just a coincidence." Remembering that giant figure in her dream that appeared in front of her to teach her she didn't know what to think. "Why do these memories keep showing up." With each new memory she wished they stopped. All they did was confuse her more and never answer her questions.

"You think you can just teach me things and it will all be okay? These damn memories."

Feeling a hand grab her she looked down to see blood slightly seeping out of her hand as Relia tried to stop her. Noticing her hand slightly trembling Xelfia felt her anger deflate a bit as she rubbed her hair. "Whatever I'll just be me." Maybe one day she could get the answers she was looking for but that would have to wait. Rather than worry about what ifs she would rather live her life. Seeing Relia cheer up after her little outburst she noticed the town entered their view.

"I hope you're ready Xilo."

Opening his eyes Xilo looked around the small little hallway they were still in as he felt groggy. Feeling something in his lap he noticed something that surprised him. Felli was laying her head in his lap as she slept soundly while Tearia was leaning on his shoulder. Seeing her there woke him right up as he felt his energy coming back. Gently he nudged Tearia awake as well as Felli. He didn't know how long they had slept but it was good enough. Whatever was waiting for them up ahead they would have to deal with as is.

"Althea didn't show up either it seems. Maybe something happened to her?"

Either way he was happy he wouldn't have to deal with her.

"Tearia, Felli it's time to get a move on. We got stuff to do."

Watching them both wake up at their own pace without a care in the world he shook his head reminded of a certain someone. "Xelfia was like this too....why are you all so similar waking up." Remembering mornings with her he didn't know what to think about their wake up habits as he got up himself after removing Felli from his lap.

Stretching his body he watched the girls slowly open their eyes as the pushed themselves up. "Good they're up now." Any longer delaying and he might have had to drag them around by hand for a little bit. The more time they spent here the more others would show up and that could end poorly. Fighting people needlessly wasn't good either thought if it was the Wolves he wouldn't mind.

"I still haven't seen many of them yet."

"Say something?"

Hearing Tearia's voice he dropped it as he complained.

"Yeah, you two take forever to wake up so pick up the pace."

"Hey! We need our time alright?"

"Yeah, yeah....We need to get moving so are you two ready now?"

"I think so? What about you Felli?"

"I'm good now, where do we want to go now though even."

Knowing that question was coming he walked forward without waiting for them as he walked into an open room at the end of the hallway. Opening into a familiar room from before their were no longer two choices this time like with the trap room. Instead he saw three different doors along with hundreds of statues that filled the room staring right at them.

"A bit creepy but it seems we got three different ways to go."

Arriving behind Xilo, Felli looked around the room as she spotted something that sent a spark through her soul.

"It's here..."
