Growing Closer and Further

Xilo knew that he had to correct the misunderstanding fast though or else things might get out of hand with her once more. Dealing with a raging Tearia wasn't something he wanted to do and a small part of him didn't want her to have such a misconception. Moving his hand he placed it on her knee to stop her from moving around and kept it there after he noticed she had calmed down. Trying to find the words in his head he tried to decide between telling the truth or not.

"Yes a bond Tearia however not the kind of bond you're thinking of. It's more accurate to call it a spiritual bond or one that binds the soul to one another. However she apparently never completed it and wanted to finish it now. For what reason though I don't know..."

Keeping that silver haired woman's words to himself he left it at that. Right now they had so many other things to think about and he didn't want to scare the girls. "A killing machine eh?" Truthfully that thought unnerved him quite a bit but that just meant he had all the more reason to stop it from happening. "Find someone stronger then her." Feeling strength course through his body as he rubbed Tearia's leg as he took a minute to seriously think about such a proposition.

"Then how do we stop such a bond? She didn't seem like the best type of person from how she acted."

Tearia knew though that wasn't the whole reason behind her reply. She may have hated the woman's guts after the pain she inflicted on her but that wasn't it. She could still feel her insides burning after the fire had already vanished however the jealousy she felt was greater than that pain. No one gets to own Xilo and hearing someone trying to own him like a dog had pissed her right off. "I learned the hard way." Facing Althea she had seen hints of herself in her when she first met Xelfia and Xilo.

"That's the hard part, apparently I need to be just as strong as her or find someone just as strong."

"So let's say that's the truth then, you know that's going to be hard to do. From my guess she's on my Grandfather's level if not stronger."

Hearing Felli's words he didn't really know what to say to that.

"...."

"And one other thing, what was that form you showed? It didn't feel like an Astral Ability."

"Well it was, just one I'm not good at using so it's a bit sporadic"

Looking Felli straight in the eyes he said that with as much confidence as he could bring out even though he knew it was a lie. That was one thing he didn't want to talk about or let other people know about but he was forced to speak about it now. If anything he wanted to end it there but he doubted Felli would take his words at face value. It was just something to unique and weird to be left alone however to his surprise he didn't hear any follow up questions. "Weird, She's definitely the cautious type so why did she back down?" Watching her turn away from his stare he wondered what was up but didn't push for anything.

"I see, we'll leave it at then. I need some sleep anyway. It's been a while and we all need energy."

Looking at Xilo, Felli held her tongue before she said anything else. "We all have things to hide or don't want to talk about." So she had to respect that especially since she was still hiding things from even Tearia. Right now though their biggest priority shouldn't be fighting with each other instead it should be resting and getting ready for what's next. "I don't think that Althea's dead and then there's others from before." Feeling her shoulders dropped she leaned hard into the wall as she felt her eyes closing on their own. She needed some sleep and this would be a good chance to leave Tearia and Xilo with some lone time.

"Lover eh?"

Whispering that under her breath she fell into the land of dreams as the stress left her body. Left in the silence of Felli's breathing Xilo continued to stroke Tearia's leg subconsciously as they sat there. "We should sleep too." Felli was right about them needing to get some energy back. Enjoying the feeling Tearia stared at Xilo as thoughts ran through her head like a small race. "What's going on Xilo? It's okay to let it out you know." Thinking that she removed Xilo's hand from her leg as she stood up and offered him a hand to stand up.

"Come with me for a bit."

"Alright.."

Checking up on Felli to see if she was sleeping still he grabbed her hand as he headed to the other side of the room with Tearia.

"What's the matter?"

"Nothing, I just wanted to talk a bit."

Looking at Tearia acting weirdly Xilo wondered if something was wrong as he heard her speak up.

"Uh-uhm, I'm sorry for earlier."

"What for?"

"Calling you my lover, I was just being dumb and didn't want to upset you. So i figured I'd apologize."

"....."

Staring at her Tearia as she held her head down he watched as her purple hair blocked her entire face. Taking a step forward he grabbed her by the chin and lifted her head up brushing her hair out of her face. Watching her purple eyes flinch as he stared into them he tried to find the words he was looking for however before he could do anything he felt Tearia back off. "Huh?" Not expecting that he felt even more confused at the distance she put between them.

"Sorry."

Looking at Xilo's face for so long she felt panicked that she might do something stupid again. So in her freight she backed off in hopes that he wouldn't be angry at her but to her surprised she felt her arm get grabbed as Xilo pulled her back in. Feeling his arms wrap around her she felt her head hit his chest as the same time the calming smell of flowers she remembered entered her nose. Unmoving she sat there as Xilo held her simply enjoying that moment not wanting to ruin it.

"It's alright and thank you."

Enjoy.
