Rest-In-Peace

I stared at the two graves in front of me. I knew Kieran was near me because I could feel the coldness radiating from his soul.

Yet, I didn't say a word. He thought he was so sneaky hiding behind the trees, so I let him believe that.

I sighed, I missed them. Hell wasn't the same without Hála's prankster mind. Especially now that I was the queen of Hell, it felt so boring. I could've used Hala's fun presence around me.

I felt another presence around me and snapped into a defensive stance. My knife was out before I even turned towards the presence, but I came to a halt as soon as I saw Hala staring at her own grave with a serene expression.

She gave me a smile and a half-glance, saying, 'Still the same as ever, Náli.'

I threw my knife to the ground and hugged her- or well tried to. It was sort of like hugging cold air but it didn't matter. Hála was here with me.

'I miss you so much,' I closed my eyes as I tried to imagine Hala's body.

I felt something cool around my shoulders as she said, 'I miss you too, Queen Náli.'

I chuckled, unable to hold it back, 'You could've been my advisor.'

'I don't think Beelzebub would give up his position so easily.'

I shrugged, 'You could fight him.'

She gasped, and I felt the cool feel of her soul vanish from around me. I looked at her to find her giving me a horrified expression, 'Wow, you must really want me gone.'
