76. Five weapons of the Scarlet army

At once Bi Yuhan and Lee stared at Snow. Lee was expecting a positive reply and Bi Yuhan had doubt in his eyes.

"I'll try my best." Snow wanted to show some confidence but she couldn't even when she tried hard.

"Ok. Now go and prepare for tomorrow. Ask Reaper to come and see me tomorrow morning." Mo Ling waved and asked them to leave.

Now the duo left without hesitation. 

After they left, the room fell silent and there's awkwardness everywhere.

Mo Ling waited for him to question her. But the expected questions never came.

She looked at him and saw him staring at her. She became flustered at the sight which was new to her.

"I sent my elite team to protect Kevin." Bi Yuhan opened his mouth and informed her.

He has a lot of mess jumbling in his mind right now. From the conversation that happened before him previously he could deduce that the kid was somehow related to the Red Nation.

And he seems to be involved with the Smith family seeing that he went out of his way to protect Kevin today.

As for his identity, it's still a mystery to him.

He knew of the names Reaper, Lee, Snow and Seven. Because they're among the five weapons of the Scarlet army.

The Scarlet army. That's a powerful existence in the Red Nation more than five years ago.

Since he already saw four of the five weapons, the kid before him might be the fifth one? Derek?

That's possible, although some say that Derek has a very robust body when compared to Reaper, who knows? No one saw the real person except the members of the Scarlet army.

And no one was more capable than him in the whole Scarlet army except the god of war Athena.

Seeing the respectful attitudes of the four members.. the boy might be Derek..

Mo Ling didn't know that the man before her attached a wrong identity to her.

She was shocked when he heard his words.

As expected, he was smart enough to analyze the overall situation with bits and pieces of information.

"Oh.. alright." That's an extra protection for Kevin which is obviously good. 

Even though she had made some arrangements by making Derek follow him, it doesn't hurt one to have a layer of extra protection.

But why is the man before her so unpredictable? Don't he have any questions for her?

She looked at him with puzzlement.

When Bi Yuhan saw the expression on the boy, he thought he looked so adorable.

So he lifted his hand and rubbed the boy's fluffy head with a smile in his eyes.

"Rest for some time. I'll wake you up for lunch." After saying that he tucked the kid in bed and switched off the light in the room and went out while closing the room door behind.

Due to her puzzlement and thoughts, Mo Ling didn't have the time to avoid his touch. She was stiffened at the spot when he rubbed her head like a puppy.

The discomfort and cold sweat didn't come. Which is rather weird to her.

After all the trauma she received in that prison cell.. it left a scar in her mind.

At those thoughts, the murderous intent surged within her as an endless tides.
