77. Visited a coma patient..

After Wolf got chased out from the room, he met Secretary Chen in the living room who's coming to report to their boss.

He was perfect to gossip about their boss!

With that thought he circled his arm around Secretary Chen's shoulders with a lewd smile plastered on his face.

"Buddy! I think I discovered something." He was brimming with energy from head to toe while sharing his gossip.

"If it isn't urgent then we'll talk some other time. Now I have some important matters to report to Sir." Secretary Chen was actually anxious to report to the boss about the results of the investigation.

After so many dead ends they finally got hold of something.

He knew how important this matter was to his boss. So he didn't want to fully dally at the moment gossiping about some random things with this tough yet silly guy before him.

"It's related to the boss." 

As expected, after hearing those words Secretary Chen fell silent and also there's some curiosity in his eyes which he wanted to hide but failed.

"I think that there's some juicy thing going on between our boss and that kid Mo Ling." He excitedly talked about it expecting to see the shocked expression of the guy.

But contrary to his expectations, Secretary Chen was calm and also looked at him like he was an idiot.

"Why are you not shocked after hearing this? They are both male!!"

"Can you stop wasting my time now?" How can Secretary Chen say that he caught the unusual air around his boss a long time ago. So he was already numb to that fact.

"I mean, that kid Mo Ling held his hand and the gentle gaze our boss directed at the boy is not common." Wolf grew agitated and started shaking Secretary Chen when he didn't see any shock or surprise from him.

"So our boss's progress is steady. As expected. We can't underestimate him." This time a moment's surprise was seen on his face. But soon it was gone and he nodded as a matter of factly.

"You already knew?!!" Wolf almost screamed through his lungs at the latter.

The latter nodded again and threw a look at the silly guy before walking away.

When Bi Yuhan went out of Mo Ling's room, he came face to face with Secretary Chen. He asked the latter to wait for him in the study while he went and changed his clothes.

"Sir, we got hold of some information when we investigated Old Master's whereabouts five years ago." Secretary Chen reported after Bi Yuhan took his seat behind his desk in the study.

He didn't say anything indicating for him to go on.

"Old Master visited the city hospital for two whole years. The reason was that he was getting treated for his weak knees. But that's the surface reason."

"The actual reason was that he visited a coma patient. The patient's identity is unknown for the time being."

"But what we knew is that the patient was presumably dead after being in a coma for two years."

"And that's coincidentally the year Young Master Mo appeared in the Bi family."

After finishing his report, secretary Chen kept silent.

He was assuming that whoever the patient was, that person was related to Mo Ling. Maybe one of his parents or a guardian.

Whatever he can think obviously Bi Yuhan can too. He was in deep thought after hearing all this.

"When can we know the identity of that patient?" He wanted to know the kid's background. 

Not because of any personal reasons but to be prepared for any unforeseen events.

After all, the boy won't sit still obediently if a problem arises. So he has to be prepared.
