75. White berry poison

Mo Ling was already mentally prepared to confess her identity if he ever asked so she didn't avoid him when Snow hesitated to speak.

First she trusts him. Trusts his character. She trusts that he won't hurt her. She didn't know when this deep trust began towards him. But she didn't want to think deeply about it.

Second, even if he listens and wants to interfere in her matters she wouldn't let him.

When Bi Yuhan saw the look in Snow's eyes he knew that he needed to leave them alone.

After all, the boy has his own secrets which might be fatal to his life when uncovered. 

He didn't want to take that chance towards the boy's life.

So he got prepared to stand and leave the room when he heard the kid's words and got stunned.

Then the next second happiness bloomed within, his lips curled up unknowingly to form a faint smile which reached his eyes.

'The boy trusts him. That's more than enough for him right now.'

After making up his mind he didn't leave.

Snow nodded after hearing Mo Ling's words. They just need to follow her commands because they have immense faith in her vision.

"The white berry poison, they succeeded in developing it. Also, I'm afraid the poison that smeared on the knife that wounded you is the advanced version." Snow's already cold voice turned even colder when she talked about that poison.

The moment her words fell, the expressions of the few people in the room changed.

Bi Yuhan knew about White berry poison. That's a medical research item from Red Nation. 

He didn't know that they developed it successfully and also concealed it perfectly.

But the most important thing right now is..

He looked at Mo Ling's hand and then at Snow.

"He's not completely fine. Is he?" He asked with all seriousness.

Mo Ling knew that she was not fine the moment she woke up. That's because she could detect an external liquid flowing through her blood.

This ability, she obtained it thanks to the torture she endured in her previous life.

In that four years of prison life, countless harmful liquids were inserted through her veins torturing her from inside.

After a series of such incidents, she could detect all the liquids that are flowing inside her along with her blood.

"No, he's not fine. I suppressed the poison but it can only give us a year at most to either create an antidote or obtain one." Since Mo Ling implied with her words that she trusted Bi Yuhan, Snow didn't hide any details from him.

"A year.." he whispered to himself and started devising a plan on how to infiltrate the medical research facility of Red Nation and take the antidote as soon as possible.

That's easier to think, than doing it.

Who doesn't know that the research facilities in Red Nation have tight security. So far no one made out alive after infiltrating any one of them.

Mo Ling didn't know what he's thinking. But knew that he's worried about her. She's terrible at reassuring people so she struggled with her words on what to say to him.

"It's okay. She can do it." She pointed at Snow and said those words.

Snow was devastated inside.

'Your Highness! Can you not speak nonsense with that much confidence?' Snow was torn inside while thinking that.
