She Has Already Gone Batsh*t Crazy

Yan Rumei felt a sharp pain in her stomach. Her eyes bulged not believing this is currently happening to her.

Despite the extreme pain, Yan Rumei was somehow fueled by some adrenalin. She gritted her teeth and clenched her knuckles.

Zheng Li strongly held Mo Yu's arm that was holding the knife. He knew that this wasn't enough to put an end to her crazy actions, so he increased the force. This made her recoil in pain and loosen her grip until a clang was heard. She finally dropped the knife on the floor.

He then twisted her arm behind her, hit the back of her knee, and shoved her body and face on the ground.

When Zheng Li is sure that the attacker is completely subdued and now has no chance to move around and hurt any more people, he cocked his head to check Yan Rumei and her mom's situation.

He saw that she was clutching her stomach, and there was blood on her fingers, and it was slowly spreading on her cream-colored dress.

He shouted to bring back sense to the people in the area, "Call an ambulance!"

Bodyguard Bo was the first to come around. He struggled to move closer despite the extreme pain in his eyes.

Earlier, when the liquid on the spray hit their eyes, he immediately pressed the button under his collar. This alerted all the Gu family bodyguards who are in the vicinity.

It was a request for backup.

He realized that the pepper spray Mo Yu used was not your regular pepper spray. It should at least be the law enforcement type. Those have about 1.5 to 2 million Scoville Heat Units (SHU), it might even be more. Some of those pepper sprays can go up to 5 million SHU which hurts 5 times more and also lasts longer.

Bodyguard Bo tried hard to open his eyes but could only slightly raise his left eyelid. When he did, he saw Mo Yu already being pinned down by a man. He then heard him shout for someone to call for an ambulance.

He scuttled forward and helped the man pin Mo Yu together.

When Zheng Li saw the still pained Bodyguard Bo help him to restrain Mo Yu, he instructed, "Hold her down, I need to help your Miss."

Bodyguard Bo's eyebrows furrowed and then his face became dark, "What happened to Miss?"

Instead of answering Bodyguard Bo, Zheng Li let go of his hold on Mo Yu and hurried forward to Yan Rumei. He placed her arm and hooked it on his left shoulder to support her.

He took out his cellphone with his right hand and dialed 120. He didn't know if someone already called but it's safer to call again.

"Sir, I've already called the hotel ambulance." A staff member, although nervous and scared, assured Zheng Li.

As soon as the staff finished saying that, a blaring siren emerged from the underground parking on the left side of the hotel.

This is not a surprise as most of the huge hotels have their own medical department. There's even a hotel in City A with its own hospital with doctors, surgeons, pharmacists, and even their complete equipment inside.

When Zheng Li heard it, he pocketed his cellphone and without hesitation, he carried Yan Rumei princess-style towards the road where the ambulance will park.

Zheng Li and the crying Lu Anqing were the ones who accompanied Yan Rumei inside the ambulance.

Gu Feng, who is still hurting, was supported by the bodyguards that arrived after Bodyguard Bo's signal. They then followed the ambulance to the hospital with their cars.

Soon enough after the ambulance left the hotel, the incident spread like wildfire.

The guests and diners in the lobby and restaurant couldn't believe it.

Just earlier, they were shocked by the appearance of CEO Gu Feng in City D and Tianlong Hotel.

Then there was that crazy woman who tried to hurt an old lady and an angel Miss.

They were then shocked once again about the revelation and news that CEO Gu Feng remarried and the angel Miss being his stepdaughter.

Also, they were treated to dinner and had a joyous meal with their family and loved ones.

Now, there's attempted murder.

This has been a roller coaster ride for all of them, including the staff.

The hotel had to dispatch all their security and even called in all employees who are off that can come back to work. The police also came.

Bodyguard Bo accompanied Mo Yu to be taken to the police station. He was tasked to make sure that she is detained, and no one could bail her out or even sneak her out.

Assistant Xiong followed Gu Feng and started to make calls to arrange things.

So, although the involved parties, Gu Feng's family and the suspect, had already left, these reporters and media wanted a recount of what exactly had transpired here. Most definitely though, they will not be getting any information from any of the staff and security. All they could try was to find guests or diners who had witnessed it, but most of them were also taken into the station by the police for their statements.
