"I quit, you lazy dumb mother**cker!" Yan Rumei declared as she flung the Notice-to-Quit paper in front of her boss. She has put up with this boss and this discriminatory company for more than 3 years and her last straw finally snapped. A Normal Lady of High Society
Outside the emergency ward, almost the entire section was blockaded by both Gu family's bodyguards and also the City D police force.
A moment later, an old lady accompanied by a well-built man in a suit walked over. It was Cai Liquin and Zheng Li's assistant/ bodyguard Han Siye.
Cai Liquin called out when he saw Zheng Li sitting on one of the hospital benches, "Li'er!"
This not only attracted the bodyguards and police nearby but also Zheng Li, and Gu Feng.
Gu Feng was trying to comfort the still worried and crying Lu Anqing. He couldn't leave her until she calmed down. He even rushed the doctor who looked at his bloodshot eyes just so he could be beside his wife.
When Gu Feng was approached by one of his bodyguards to report the old lady, he glanced at Zheng Li, the man who saved both his daughter and wife.
No one knows how critical they would end up if this man did not step in to stop Mo Yu after her first attack on Yan Rumei.
Zheng Li looked at him in return. He wanted to speak with his grandma.
Gu Feng also understood this. The old lady must have worried so much when the news of the incident spread in the hotel, and not to mention the fact that her grandson was face to face with the attacker.
Gu Feng then nodded at the bodyguard to allow the old lady and her guard to pass.
Zheng Li also walked over to meet and support his grandma.
"Li'er, are you alright? Are you hurt? Is… is Lady Yan, is she alright?" Cai Liquin worriedly asked.
Gu Feng and Lu Anqing saw this grandmother and grandson duo earlier. Yan Rumei had helped the old lady and they exchanged contact information, so it wasn't a surprise that the kind-looking old lady was concerned for their daughter.
"I'm alright grandma. I wasn't hurt or anything. But… Ms. Yan's condition is still unknown." Zheng Li replied.
Cai Liquin took a deep breath.

While the whole country is in the turmoil of the waves and waves of news that hit them regarding the Gu family, the Mo family in City A was filled with gloom as soon as they saw the news mention Mo Yu's name.
They weren't ignorant of Mo Yu's feelings for Gu Feng. She has always liked him since they were young.
She even drugged him before, but her scheme backfired and she ended up sleeping with another man, and Gu Feng with another girl.
When they heard of Gu Feng marrying Ye Jie, they immediately dragged Mo Yu and stuffed her in a plane to Country H.

She was overjoyed. She still thought she had a chance now that the wife is gone.
However, only until her grandparents died a few years after was she able to come back to City A.
When she came back, she wasn't that crazy. She acted like a normal lady of high society. She also didn't force herself too much on Gu Feng. She created chances but kept a suitable distance. She was just continuously watching him from afar.
Even when decades passed, she was fine to not marry.
But a month ago, they noticed her acting really weird.
She has been mumbling words and even ignoring them when they ask her what's the matter.
She has also been in contact with a man over the phone. On every call she receives, she ends up smashing her phone on the ground or throwing it to a maid. One of them was even sent to the hospital because of a concussion.
Now, the Mo family knew what made her act like that. And this time, it was too late to stop their daughter.

Mo Jing and the others that gathered in the living room breathed a long string of sighs.
His face aged in just a few minutes of internalizing what had happened.
He then struggled to say, "If the police or the Gu family calls or visit, cooperate with them fully."
"Butler Ji, prepare and provide all access to the home surveillance except the study."
"This is the best we can do to save our family."
A young man in the family shouted in protest, "Grandpa! What about Auntie Yu? Are you not going to save her? She must be suffering in the police station in that filthy City D by now!"
"Shut up!" a middle-aged man reprimanded the young man. "I did not raise you to mistake right from wrong!"
This man is Mo Ying, the next in line to be the family head of the Mo family, one of Mo Yu's brothers.
"Your aunt dug this grave herself! We've already helped her and done what we can when she was still young and helpless. She's already more than 50 now and should be more than responsible for what she's doing! The only thing we can do now is to prevent our entire family and relatives from being dragged down by her actions!"
"But dad! Aunt is family too. She's your one and only younger sister!" The young man, Mo Lei, again reasoned.

Mo Ying took a deep breath and then sighed.
"Lei 'er, do you think I don't care for your aunt? If what she provoked is just a normal family or even a family the same level as us, I will not hesitate to help her out. But do you know how powerful the Gu family is? After Gu Feng took over, the family that was once the same level has grown 10... no, 100 times!"
