Fruitless efforts

I landed on the remaining of the sinking Island. My attack has done a number on the island. But I didn't care about it. I transformed back into my human form as I looked towards the bisected body of the fat pig.

"Tch ! What an insane regeneration !" I was baffled at his insane regeneration.

He was regenerating slower than before, maybe due to the effects of my conqueror's haki. But he still regenerating.

And it was not a good news at all. I have put everything I had in my last move.

And even then I wasn't able to kill him.

With the amount of information I have, I doubt that I would be able to kill him here. Not to mention now that I am a devil fruit user, I can't go on with my 'swimming from one Island to the other' idea.

Then again the threat of the ancient weapon, also remained.

I was not completely weak right now. But I don't want to stick here any longer. What I need now the most is the information on the ancient and Imu. Once I have them I can finally destroy all these Gods and feast on their meat.

So far now I decided to retreat.

Looking around, I found a few intact corpses of a couple of civilians and celestial dragons alike. Picking them up for my letter consumption I left the site, before the mountain sized boar heals itself.

But when I was just about to leave, I found a box containing a devil fruit on my way. I didn't know which one was it but I decided to take it anyway. It can be sold to others. And I can use the fund for something good.

But while running towards the coast, my observation haki picked up the aura of an injured person. Looking around I found a girl, bleeding heavily from her head, lying on the ground. It was a miracle that she has survived this longer. It couldn't be anything except for luck.

I decided to take her with me as well. If she survives, then it is good. Otherwise I can simply eat her. In short, emergency food.

Picking her up, I finally ran towards the coast.

Roma was still suffering from the shock she felt from the devastating attack that was causing the island in front of her to slowly sink in the ocean.

The ocean water was still split apart, not feeling the void.

The remnants of the conqueror's haki was still palpable in the air.

Whoever called this attack is nothing less than a natural calamity.

But Roma was able to bring out herself from the shock and flew towards the island. By the time she reached above the part of the ocean, which was split apart, she saw the bottom of the ocean slowly losing the effects from the haki and was being filled with water. It wasn't easy for her to continue flying in such condition so she decided to land on the island first.

Going near the island the first thing she noticed was the mountain sized boar like monster. It was deeply injured but before she could go anywhere near it, four black circles with peculiar patterns appeared on the ground beside the humungous boar like monster.

Then suddenly with a blast of conqueror's haki four other monsters appeared beside the boar. But the appearance of two of them paused Roma in her track.

Saint V. Nusjuro and Saint Saturn were in the hybrid form.

After facing the attack that can possibly rival the power of an ancient weapon, Warcury became very worried. Because the existence of such a person could threaten the existence of the entire world government.

So while he was regenerating after being cut in half, he contacted the other for elders.

'The situation is very grave. All of us need to take action right now if you do not want the existence of the word government to be threatened.' Warcury said to the other elders.

'We are not seeing the current situation on that island. Tell us what exactly has happened ?'

V Nusjuro said seriously.

'That insect can possibly rival the power of an ancient weapon. She has splitted the entire Island and the ocean in half. With just a single attack, she has sunken an entire Island. We cannot let such a monster exist. I cannot handle her on my own !' Warcury admitted shamefully.

'The situation must be very serious if you are admitting defeat. Very well prepare for the summoning ritual. We will kill that monster on that Island.' Saint Mars said to Warcury.

So as soon as Warcury joined himself together, he immidiately used the summoning ritual.

My eyes widened as I saw the five gigantic monsters on the other side of the island.

With all the elder stars here there is no escape left for me. But there are many ways for me to survive this situation.

As soon as the elders appeared another negligible aura flew towards them.

The island of Fagistaa was not particularly very big. It's size was roughly around three fourth of the dawn island.

So I could clearly see the other gods from the distance.

I knew that I needed more energy to get away from this situation.

So I dropped everything and everyone I was carrying and started eating the two celestial dragons I had.

I ate as quickly as I could. But even then they started charging at me when I haven't even finished one of them.

The first two charge at me, were The Horse, and the small ball of fire.

This time I transformed into my full zoan form.

The first one to attack me was the busty fireball.

She sent a large stream of bright yellow flames towards me. It was so hot, that I could feel the heat even from the distance. But my mind was not focused on her attack.

My mind when focused on the Dark shadow behind me. Ever since I have transformed into my hybrid or zoan form I have been feeling a strange connection towards the shadow around me. In my hybrid form it will a little less prominent than my full zoan form. But now with the darkest shadow of myself, I could feel the connection greater than ever before.

So I let my instincts guide me and picked up all the things I had taken with me before including the injured girl and the devil fruit. Then I jumped into my shadow.
