Shadow space and the aftermath

I jumped into my shadow. The first thing that greeted me after that was utter darkness. But my eyes adjusted to this surroundings pretty easily.

I found myself in a dark and colourless version of the original world. Looking around myself I found everything in black and dark grey. It would be impossible for a normal human to see in this environment. But with my cat eyes I could see pretty clearly. Then turning around I noticed my surrounding. The ground is broken exactly like the real world. I could see the dark shadows of five gigantic creatures and the light grey flickering shadow of a woman, in the sky.

Then turning towards my own shadow, I didn't found any nor the shadow of anything or anyone I brought here.

*Rumble*Rumble*

The dark ground I was standing on, started to tremble as the island started to sink slowly into the ocean. Turning towards the ocean I tried to touch the water. But to my surprise I couldn't. It was just the shadow of the water.

When I tried to go deeper, it felt like water, but I was not sinking like an ordinary devil fruit user.

To test my theory my slowly entered the dark water and started swimming in it.

To my surprise , I could swim perfectly.

*Rumble*Rumble*

The island started to shake as the other part slowly went inside the ocean. Direct I had created in the ocean was also slowly filling up with water.

I didn't know whether my actions here, is actually affecting the real world or not. So I decided to check it out. But before I could, I noticed the gigantic figures of the five elders vanished from the shadow world with some dark streaks of sparks.

After that the bright grey figure also retreated back to the ocean.

*growl*

My stomach suddenly cried in hunger.

Without turning back to my human form I started to feast upon the remaining celestial Dragon and the two dead civilians. I ate them, completely not even leaving if bones behind. Even then I was still not full. But I decided against eating the unconscious girl. I may be a monster but I still have some codes. I will only hunt down or eat the gods actively. I won't hesitate to eat a dead human. But I will not actively hunt then down.

After finishing my meal I turned back to my human form and sat they are for a while. The speed in which, the island was sinking, it will take more than an hour to completely sink in the water.

I tried to get the feeling of the shadows, that I got during my zoan transformation, but it was simply impossible in my human form.

So I turned back to my zoan form and tried to get the feeling.

The feeling was really strange. When I felt it, it was like feeling a lot of doors in a space, to be particular in the shadows. Unfortunately my body was too big to actually enter through those doors.

While I was trying to get a large enough door to get back to the real world before the island sinks completely, I found myself a little smaller than before.

It was strange and yet familiar feeling.

After a few tries, I was finally able to turn into a small cat.

After testing my abilities for a while in the shadow world I went back to the normal world. It was exactly as I thought the normal word is the same as the shadow world first of only twenty percent part of the original Island was still staying afloat.

I tried to find anything useful on the land. But I got nothing except for a few dead bodies and rubbles. After searching for a while in my cat form, I finally gathered some sturdy looking woods and some other materials to make a proper raft.

Quickly I sent those things into my shadow world along with a few dead bodies.

After entering back into the shadow world I turned back into my human form and quickly started making a raft and a paddle.

I somehow managed to build a raft in time.

Then finally putting everything on the raft, I decided to travel in the shadow world instead of the real one.

I was not a human anymore.

'Maybe I am a shadow monster who feast on human flesh.'

I shook my head to get rid of that thought.

Thankfully the raft was able to stay afloat on the shadow ocean. It was safer than travelling in the real ocean.

I looked back towards the direction where the shadow of an island used to be.

*Growl*

My stomach started growling again.

'maybe this time I should cook them before eating.'

AN: I am going to explain about the powers of cat cat fruit model shadow hell cat. I will also write about it in the story. But this not is about those who still have a doubt left about the powers in case I failed to portray it perfectly.

Shadow hell cat will have all the normal zoan powers of the animal such as increase in strength, speed and reflexes. She will have also improved hearing and eyesight. For now she will have only two forms. Hybrid form and full Zoan form. But in the future she will gain multiple forms exactly like chopper. But enough spoiler about the future. Let's talk about the powers.

Shadow hell cat will have two main powers. Her first power is called shadow dimension. It is a pocket dimension which is connected to every shadow in the world. And only she will have the access to this shadow dimension. If you have some doubts then I will confirm it now that Geko Moria won't have the connection to the shadow dimension.

She can use the shadow dimension to travel from one shadow to another shadow in the shadow dimension and then pop up in the real world. Of course she can also use it to store other objects inside the dimension. So you can think of it as a storage space.

Note that, she can't control or manipulate the shape and size of the shadows in the real world nor can she do anything with the shadows of the living beings. She can only control the shadow of non living being in the shadow world and it will affect the non living beings in the real world.

Of course it will change once she awakens her devil fruit. But I won't talk about it now.

Her second power will be controlling her own size. There is a limit how small are big she could be. But she can control it freely at her will. You will have to wait to know more about this power.
