"What should I wear?"

"Yanmei, anything can do good."

"Ugh! I can't pick!"

Guang face-palmed her face as Yanmei tried on all of her clothes.

She kept asking herself why she even tried dressing up so much. Does she want to impress someone?

"Who is it this time?"

Guang asks, sitting on Yanmei's bed as she looks at her best friend's complex expression.

"It's no one; I just feel like I needed to dress up."

Guang nodded her head as if she wanted to believe Yanmei.

She then started to wonder if someone in the group of friends that are invited to the party made her this interested.

But then she shakes her head because no one will ever do that.

Unless that girl from the mall is there.

"Are you sure it's no one?"

Guang wanted to know. If it's for someone, then she needs to get to know that person first.

It's hard to hand Yanmei to someone because she'll be dead if ever something happens to the girl.

Yanmei sighs and nods her head, assuring the girl.

"Good thing Uncle let you out tonight."

"As he should, or I'll throw a tantrum."

The thing is, Yanmei did throw a tantrum just to get Shihong to agree that she would go out tonight.

Her father doesn't want something to happen to her, so if she ever does go out tonight, she'll go with one man.

But Yanmei didn't like that idea.

So she throws a tantrum, saying she'll sneak out and never come back.

Shihong could only nod his head and agree with what Yanmei wanted.

All he wants is to have a great relationship with his daughter, so maybe after this night, the two will go back to their relationship.

"So after this, your relationship with your father would be good?"

Guang opens up.

Yanmei stops what she's doing before she thinks for a while.

What's wrong with their relationship?

Yanmei can't think of anything wrong with her relationship with her father.

She sighs before speaking about what she thinks.

"What's wrong with our relationship?"

Guang shakes her head and doesn't say anything.

How dumb can her best friend be?

"Ey, you look like you'll get laid tonight."

Roulan rolled her eyes at what Lanfen said.

Roulan is wearing a white tank top underneath a checkered black flannel. She's also wearing skinny jeans with white sneakers.

Lanfen and Yu look at each other before high-fiving.

They intentionally wanted Roulan to look like a slice of meat for tonight.

"You two planned this right?"

"Uh-huh, so you can get laid tonight."

Yu says and smiles before she puts her arms around the taller girl's shoulder.

"Come on, the party's about to start."

She drags Roulan towards her car.

Roulan confesses that she's been liking girls since she was a teenager, and it's not that surprising for Lanfen and Yu.

They knew she has that kind of feeling just by her vibe.

Whenever they would drag Roulan to go with them to the mall, the girl would only watch from the corner as the two bought cosmetics.

Roulan thought the two would ignore her, but they didn't.

They accepted her and said that they were already in the modern world, so it was fine.

Hating her won't do anything good because they wouldn't be able to change her feelings anyway.

So what's the point of hating someone who just loves the same gender?

It's still love.

"I heard there is going to be another party in that club."

"What? I thought it'd only be us."

"Well, the management did something terrible, and that's why two parties will be held."

"Though the other would be in the loft part."

Lanfen and Yu exchange topics from time to time to kill boredom.

Roulan is not the one to talk at this type of time.

She likes listening and giving her thoughts if the person ever asks for them.

"Oh, and you know? Lei was in the hospital!"

Now, that's interesting.

"What happened to him?"

Roulan opens her mouth to ask.

"Well, the girlfriend broke up with him, then he decided to come and ask what was wrong."

"But the girl seems to have no interest in him, and he doesn't have any patience, so he grabs her arms."

"But someone held his and pushed him away from the girl."

"It was the girl's bodyguard!"

Yu shared, turning to the left as they saw the blurry lights of the club.

"So his girlfriend was rich?"

"Yes, the girl costs a dime! Can you imagine?"

"That's weird."

Lanfen said before she sighs and leans her back on the chair.

"Lei wouldn't stop bugging that girl because he can get rich instantly."

"Uh-huh, and he'll always get beaten up."

"So the cost of asking what was wrong is him going to the hospital?"

Roulan asks, furrowing her eyebrows as she feels suddenly guilty.

Yu nodded her head as she parked the car and turned it off.

"Well, here we are."

She said.

Lanfen excitedly removed her seatbelt and got out of the car, running inside the club to have fun.

Yu and Roulan shake their heads before calmly getting out of the car.

"The hangover will come to her."

"Yeah, it'll hit her hard."

As they walk away from the car, another car shows up and parks beside Yu's.

"So you dressed up for someone."

Guang said as she eyed Roulan, who was going inside the club.

Yanmei couldn't believe her eyes upon seeing the girl from the mall right in the club, where the party she'll be attending is.

Her best friend shakes her head and smiles before removing her seatbelt and getting out of the car.

"Come on now."

Yanmei snapped out of her thought and quickly went out of the car, clinging to Guang with all her might.

"Tell me she's not going to attend the party we will be at."

"I'm sure it's not."

"Then why is she here!?"

Yanmei looks at Guang as her voice rises.

The girl in question shrugs her shoulders before walking, with Yanmei still clinging to her.

"You only cling to me when you are nervous."

"I'm not nervous."

"Who are you kidding? You are."

Yanmei huffs her breath before she pushes Guang and walks away from her.

"Hey! Wait for me!"

"Well, it seems like Yu is right."

Lanfen said as she looked up from the loft, where the other party was being held.

"Told you."

Yu whispered behind her and smiled as she successfully scared the hell out of Lanfen.

"Don't ever do that!"

Lanfen smacks Yu's shoulder as the girl approaches, and Roulan laughs at her reaction.

It seems like I have another thing to do for Lanfen."

Roulan said, which earned a glare from the said girl.

Roulan likes to do something that will scare Lanfen.

It seems like scaring and annoying the girl is her happy pill.

And Lanfen would playfully tell her to stop, but she liked getting those from Roulan.

Not that she likes the girl at all, but because she wants to see her friend happy.

"So, what's with those people up there?"

Roulan asks, pointing at the people in the loft part of the club.

Yu puts down her drink and thinks for a while.

She seems to be looking at the information in her mind.

"I heard they are part of the elites."

"Oh, they are rich."

"Then, shouldn't you be there?"

Roulan said.

Yu smiles and shakes her head.

"I don't socialize with people like them."

"I mean, I am a part of the elites, but then I hated the fact that they are so spoiled."

"Hmm, it seems like you."

"Yeah- what?"

Yu looks at Lanfen.

The girl smiles and shakes her head, saying that she's only joking about what she said.

As they kept talking, Yanmei and Guang were looking at them.

Yanmei couldn't keep her eyes away from Roulan, as she felt herself getting more interested in the girl.

"Yanmei, she'll melt."

"Ugh! Stop, please."

"You've been staring at her."

"I know!"

Yanmei leans back in the chair and whines.

She didn't like the idea of getting interested in someone she barely knew.

"You can have your shot with her."

"You're beautiful, smart, and rich. She'll probably worship you if ever."

"Nope, I think I only needed to get laid tonight."

"Uh-huh, and you wish it would be her."

Guang said, pointing at Roulan, who was laughing with her friends.
